Dr. Rowe shows how to safely crack your back between your shoulder blades.
This video will be broken into an EASY step-by-step guide that will show various exercises to self mobilize, release, or pop the upper back.
They'll focus on improving mobility and decreasing soft tissue (muscle) tension which may lead to less pain, tightness, and better range of motion in (and around) the shoulder blades. You may experience relief within seconds.
As a bonus, these stretching exercises can be done at home, pretty much ANYPLACE and ANYTIME! That way you'll be able to relieve pain and tightness in the back quickly, and get the pop or release you're looking for.
Watch now and learn how to pop your back between your shoulder blades!

Suggestions on in Bed ? There are still days I can't get out of bed nor bend over to pull up my underwear. Any suggestions on when I get stuck in bed and no position is comfortable or how to get off the toilet pain free ? Prefer to start day with your videos and some good morning stretches and pops .

My back pops in between my shoulder blades when my lungs fill up with air (like when I'm holding in a sneeze) It's not painful, but should I be concerned? It will pop as well when I bend over to pick something up

I loved school desks because I pushed against the actual desk part with whatever part of my back was tight against the seat top, and the pressure would pop my back.

I've been using the edge of bed method for a few years now and it usually gets a few cracks. When it doesn't (or even to try to get another), I use my hands to pull my head up and forward until my chin almost touches my chest, sort of like I'm starting to do an improper sit-up, and I sometimes get a crack that way. Also, I don't have a foam roller, so I just tried the bear hug and twist method at 7:38 on the edge of the bed and got a series of cracks, so it works there, too. Thanks for that, Dr. Rowe.

Hello ~ I'm glad I dropped here, I was actually able to release a lot of tension (and actually able to put back in my left should blade) thanks to this content. I also have some funny things to share. The first is that I realised at the end of this video that I was actually wearing the same color of clothes (even the belt). And as for this content, since I was lazy to get up or to get on the ground, I started to try similar things which ended up soon after in this video. So in the end, it was really helpfull content to me, thank you ! (ps : i'm already looking for and forwards to find your other contents to ease my thoracic cage difficulties)

It’s crazy… I’ve got a C5-C6 herniated disk which has resulted in nerve impingement. I’ve had nerve root blocks and Radio-frequency ablations. I work at a desk for long hours. It ends up creating so much pain in my shoulders and mid back. I can’t get rid of it. Nerve pain down my arms and pain localized at my neck are greatly reduced but my shoulders and back hurt so bad. Appreciate your videos and I’m hoping to find that release I’m looking for.

I love your videos, I've gotten some much needed pain relief from them. I was hoping maybe you could help me understand something. I was forced into a industrial clothes dryer and sustained neck and back injuries. A year and a half of physical therapy and mri and they cant tell me what's wrong. The lumbar region between my shoulder blades always hurts. It wont release and when it gets to hurting to bad it affects my chest bone. At times so much pressure is being put on my chest bone it feels broke. No doctor has been able to tell me why this is happening. Any ideas???

about the first method you mention, I actually have a kinda similar technique that have 100% success rate for me. I only have to lay flat on the floor, do similar hand to the neck as you do, pull my head up without bowing (keep my head straight looking to the ceiling) while keeping my back sticking to the floor. the further I pull my hand down, the lower it goes on my back. IDK if you had it in your other video tho

Hey Doc, can you do a video on adjusting shoulder particularly the part under the armpits. I have frequent pains in my armpit due to the joint popping downwards giving me a huge lump/swelling in the region it makes the edge of my shoulder blade get under the shoulder and makes me unable to fully close my arms. My arms automatically gravitate outwards like a wrestlers posture.

My back hurts between my shoulder blades. I have fibromyalgia and that's a common painful area for me. This time it's different. We went on a trip and had to go through a lot of really bad construction on the Interstate. I got slung sideways and forward and backwards despite my seatbelt. That was over 2 weeks ago. When I arrived home I noticed my sacrum area hurt and tingled. The next day between my blades got bad. My entire spine became tingly as did both arms, my hands and back. As time went on my legs became tingly. My hands keep going numb and throb. Bad enough to not allow me to sleep. I have just quit doing everything. It's helping but something is wrong. Things are calming down except for my thoracic area. Constant discomfort. I've noticed that the area is sore to touch too. I've decided that due to the being jerked around in the car, my driving part of the trip and having fibromyalgia I have a disc out of alignment. I just watched all your videos and others and I'm going to give them a try later today. I have too much to do to wait around for this inflammation to subside and for things to correct themselves, if ever. You probably won't see this but I want to thank you for putting up these videos. I know what a doctor's visit will ensue. Lots of tests and steroid injections. I've been that route too many times!! Wish me luck I can get things back in alignment. I can't wait to hear and feel that pop as it realigns. You are a blessing! ❤🙏😊

My spine is bent at the top and bottom, my shoulders roll forward when I am training, I don't feel anything when I'm pulling weights and my arms go back, is there away to fix this? My pt thinks I'm numb and that's why don't feel anything
