Print color first. White prints last.

The Forever Laser dark and Forever Flex soft would have nothing to do with your MH cutter. They are paper that you use with a laser printer. No cutting required at all.

Your design software is having the printer combine Black and Cyan to give you a deeper black. It tries to do this with the White toner in and that is why you have that color. This problem will happen more when printing from a .pdf file too. I personally use .PNG files of .SVG files when printing with Ghost. For my 622 printer and Forever Laser Dark I use Coated 1 as my media type

You can use the basic version Vinyl Master Cut to to the outlines to create the white backer and more. You will have to do any editing to the image in another program UNLESS you upgrade to DSR.

Some people like a textured feel to it. To get this you just do a second finishing press with a blank T-shirt.

I used this design on both light and dark shirts. You need to make sure that you have enough toner for the adhesive to activate, and the white layer also helps the color pop better on darker clothing. of course if you use more or less white than is needed, it can change the colors to something you don't want. Think about it this way... you need a white layer "behind" your color graphics when you transfer onto a dark garment. You're printing your color graphics first. Then you are doing a second print pass on top of that print with white. Q: So the white layer was to keep the CMYK layer the proper shades? A: Pretty much the idea... in print design, like traditional CMYK printing, some folks don't consider the substrate (paper) as a color. Really it's CMYK + (substrate color, like white paper). Print CMYK on white, all cool, print CMYK on pink, everything starts turning more orange and red, print CMYK on black substrate (paper, garment), ehrrr, not so much. So, add a white layer to the CMYK transfer and print on black tee-shirt... All Good! The solution here is a cool low tech work around. I think this modification is pretty cool because you can use off-the-shelf technology. Yes, you do have to switch the cartridge, but that's pretty painless. Turning a standard CMYK laser printer into CMYK + White is WAY COOL! I am voting for Glow-In-The Dark cartridges next LOL!

@@allenhuffman Yes... in traditional printing you would call it a "Bump" plate. If you where screen printing, you would print the white plate first on the dark garment, flash heat it to cure it, then print your color graphics on that. This is a similar concept. Artwork for heat transfers are layered "sort of" backwards and reversed. What you print first is on top (the color), then the second pass white is "behind". That gives you an opaque "field" of white, so your colors don't merge into the substrate (tee-shirt) color.

Are you trying to listen to background music or something? I can hear everything I say clearly when I use a classic 2 speaker and subwoofer pc speaker setup, headphones, 5.1 surround speakers, and then I also cast it to my TV using a soundbar.
