How to create an Aggregate Device with Roland SYSTEM-1, JD-Xi, and Quad-Capture

Hello everyone,
In this video I wanted to demonstrate how to set-up an Aggregate Device inside your Apple MacBook so you can fully take advantage of ALL of your Audio/Midi interfaces for recording. Please check it out and I hope you find this video useful.
Also, please make sure and download all necessary drivers for the products you are using. This will ensure that your computer knows how to communicate with your devices.
Below I have links to the drivers of the instruments that I used in this video.

+Ed Diaz - seriously - it's videos that show me how to actually use this stuff that makes me buy more! After I played with the JD-Xi at SXSW (and met you, although I didn't know you were KZfaq famous at the time, ha ;) ), I saw one of Sequentonal's vids (you guys should sponsor him with a JDXA!) and immediately knew I had to have it. I've since picked up a JP-08 too! I've got a few pieces from another company and they're alright, but they don't produce anything like these vids and I struggle to have as much fun with their stuff. Anyway, thanks!

This worked perfectly during the El Capitan, Sierra and High Sierra days. With the new operating systems (Catalina, Big Sur), using Logic Pro (latest version), the JDXi doesn’t work well at all. As soon as you set up a midi track, arm it and hit record, it’s sending a midi note on to one of the midi channels. It’s so frustrating to the point, it’s unusable in the studio. Even when I set it up as an audio track it does the same thing.

Do you know how to do that MIDI Device setup in PreSonus Studio One 3 Professional? I only got so far without any MIDI keyboards; tried to choose QWERTY Keyboard and didn't get any options past that... Thanks. I probably need a MIDI Keyboard, eh?

nope windows cant do this, only option is asio4all and it's rather buggy

I am a recent iMac convert and this aggregate option is a godsend for all my boutiques and my minibrute 2s and unlike asio4all which constantly gave me audio and sync issues, my iMac keeps sync and my audio is so much clearer.
