So many thoughtful steps and considerate processing to build those card masterpieces. I’m totally in awe. I hope those cards go to people who treasure them. I started to gift self made cards and little journals to friends/family and realized that they don’t really value them because they can’t imagine how much creative activity and artistry it means to create and personalize them. And you people surely know about the love you feel about every one of your “babies”. But watching the creativity, spirit and spunk of the Junk Journal Community makes me feel happy to have started my own journaling journey. I appreciate all of you. Thanks so much!

I love how the beauty emerged as you went about making them. Im usually not a fan of vintage or distressed looks but these came out so beautiful and perfectly placed. You have a gift of turning ordinary things into beautiful things. So glad I stumbled across this.

I love those cards, they are so fun! Nice mixed media project. I actually earlier today made some cards out of master collage board I made. I used a lot of mixed media backgrounds for it, as well as a far amount of washi, then embellished them with some fun ephemera and sentiments. Another you can do is make your mixed media elements on a scrap and then cut them out with the die cut machine. They are less delicate that way when you are adding water and inks.

Oh wow!! These turned out so beautiful. I really love Texture Paste. And with the Distressed Oxides and watercolor paint on them, they are the perfect amount of grunge. I love how you built up the grunge with different layers of paint and Oxides. Each new color changed the look completely. Can’t wait to try these in my Journal. I just got some extremely sad news on Sunday. My oldest brother passed away. He didn’t want a funeral. So I think I’ll have to say goodbye to him with a similar card dedicated to what an amazing man he was. Thank you for sharing this with us. Your videos are always calming to me. Seriously needed that today. 💔💔💔

The laughter has been so healing. I’ll be okay. I keep thinking about the reunion he’s having with our parents. They’re all in a better place. ♥️♥️♥️

I liked the butterflies before you darkened them, but of course I'm not seeing exactly what you see although the end result were pretty too. I also love the color combinations used in the background. Smashingly done Barbara !!!
