How to Crochet Baby Mermaid Outfit with Crocodile Stitch

In this video I demonstrate how to crochet a mermaid outfit for a baby. This will fit any baby up to 18 months. I use the crocodile stitch in this tail. Watch my other video to show how to make a bikini top for this outfit to make it all come together!

Instead of a straight stitch band...tgere is a shell stitch tgat alternates to look like shells.....it would be theme ish since its shells.... I love your voice its so clear and you tell things to understand thank you for your trouble.and for sharing....I have crocheted for about 46 yrs....your teaching is super!!!!!

when i first watched this i was totally confused on the whole crocodile stitch if anyone else had this problem i suggest watching a tutorial on how to make crocodile stitches first once i did i had no problem at all i love my babys mermaid outfit thank you for the video!!

The mermaid tale you made is absolutely beautiful and even after Several attempts, I unfortunately was not able to get this. It wasn't because of you, you're awesome! I found this extremely frustrating and also wanted to toss my computer across the room! Lol Guess I'll be making a plain ole mermaid tail! :-/

It took me 3 tries to get the hang of it. I'm really enjoying making this. Don't know what the outcome will be as I can't get the wool like yours & mine is a bit finer & am using number 4 hook, but it'll be good as practise & hopefully will fit newborn to at least 3 mths. Thankyou for your awesome tutorials, ypou explain it all so well :D
