Thank you for this video. I typically only use AP for batch processing images but really need to learn to use all of the available tools. It is so much better than the Apple Photos app.

Apple Photos can be great for simple photo editing, but Affinity has way more tools & functionality. 🙂

The custom ratio is a ratio, not an exact number of inches, centimetres, pixels, etc. So it doesn't matter whether you want to measure your ratio in inches or centimetres, since the ratio will still be a ratio. I hope that makes sense.

To "crop" an individual layer, you would need to make a selection with the Rectangular Marquee tool, and then apply a mask to the layer.

I'm glad to see what someone else says about this topic. Personally I like to provide as much attractive information as possible for someone who might be able to e experience the event so I I would have straightened the horizon and captured the essence of the narrows, sun origin, effect on the clouds, but the entirety of the shadow if saving to send a family member. For myself, I would probably go with the artistic effect just to jog the memory of what I felt when I first saw it.

Hi Ally! Please make an urgent video with your (honest) opinion about what could happen now that Affinity has been purchased by Canva. Will Affinity be integrated into the Canva platform? Or maybe Canva will be integrated into Affinity! What do you think will happen?
