1000usd?, wow. I bought a New York A5 Kobe 100%, with 2,6kg weight at 250usd in Taiwan.

Wagyu is a delicious experience but honestly for regular eating I find Prime far more enjoyable.
@hubadah18132 жыл бұрын
yeah obviously nobody wants to eat wagyu every day its way too rich its more like a once a month or even year kind of deal
@edwinhung81622 жыл бұрын
try washugyu. I like washugyu more than prime and wagyu.

Unless you're selling this, why such thin cuts? I mean one thicker cut steak is going to be always be better even if it's split amongst 4 people, duration of time on the flame before the entire meat hits temp is critical.

But the cooking though...

Thick steak means longer cooking time, more fats will render out. And thats what you pay with an a5, its fats.

They say wagyu fats are healthy fats but why I cut it?
@jaydenong55033 жыл бұрын
Because it will overwhelm the meat itself.

Hilaw 😂 Some cut wagyu around 1.5inch so u can base it easily after the first flip. 2-3mins would be a perfect medium rare
@dylan243342 жыл бұрын
its not basing its basting and you dont baste wagyu anyway

Are those New York Strips? Or picanha it kinda looks like picanha other then the fact picanha has more fat but still it kinda looks like it I’m kinda confused it’s probably New York strip

@@drsquatchman6685 A5 waygu isn’t a cut of meat bro so no it isn’t in the title. WTF you talking about? You obviously have no clue what A5 waygu is or what it means.

To each their own but those could've been cut a lot thicker and used A LOT more seasoning lol
@hypeoptic6542 жыл бұрын
not really, because waygu is such an expensive and rich meat, you want to be able to taste the meat and have the seasoning as a compliment. For the thickness, waygu is so rich that too thick of a steak, and you cant eat all of it.

I would have cut two inch thick steak , I am not eating paper thin steak after spending 1000 dollars ,
@TwoTwoFourSix3 жыл бұрын
Trust me, it’s extremely fatty and honestly, it’s more than enough, it’s not like a regular steak. It’s the equivalent of pouring butter on your bread. Your stomach won’t like it either.
@robert86682 жыл бұрын
@@TwoTwoFourSix 1 inch is perfect, but being so rich one of those steaks at an inch is enough for 4-6 people

why are you cutting out the fat?
@Andy-we5og3 жыл бұрын
To put in and grease the pan or skillet as you get it to a high temperature, it's a common technique when cooking wagyu ,. I do it but add a touch of garlic butter as well , ... Wagyu ribeye with cauliflower cheese and garlic cream mushrooms 👌
