Michael Breault he’s lucky it didn’t break. Even 3cm is immensely weak under too much weight strain. He’s a beast, but a lucky one.

Isaac Ostrom how much should I charge to cut to small round tabletops from granite? Diameter is 16. I gave them a $180 quote for both small tabletops

Great Video. There are so many with specialist equipment but very few like this I fit kitchens in the UK and today had to trim a granite worktop. Using only this video as a guide, the results were literally perfect, and earned me a grand. Thank you, seriously thank you

i hate the sinks. luckily my work has a cnc that does the cutting, but if it messes up we have to to do it by hand. i suck at corners.

Love this video! I have access to scrap granite pieces and would love to trim the edges on some for projects. I would like to know how to just chisel the edges for a rough look too. I tried to but it was hard work. I don't think I had the right stuff either. :(

What do you think of the silicone grinding wheels? I love the 120 and 220 stone to get rid of scratches especially on dark granite. Love the video though great info. Im 25 been doing granite since I was 18 it's tough work but well worth it.

Can this be done without the use of water? I have to modify my existing installed counters. Two straight cuts and then polishing the edge. Also, can you link the blades and polishing pads needed? Awesome video!

Isaac, I have a question. I have an under-mount sink and the granite cracked (a large, 1/8" wide, crack) in the back near back splash, at a dowel pinned joint. Considering cutting out a large opening, removing damaged area, and installing a "farmhouse sink". Can this be done "on-site" without removing the entire counter top?

Love your videos!! Can you describe how to polish the inside corners on a granite countertop. I have done this on a curved inside corner but the one I am attempting now is 90 degrees and I dont know if my diamond pads will be able to get in that tight without rubbing out the side adjacent to the one I am polishing. Any of your thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Draw on the granite with a paint pen, get rid of the paper, and run more water.. especially with those core bits.

I love most of these comments are about safety glasses hehehe But I think that most of you guys would try this as a hobby kinda thing, on the other hand Isaac is the kind guy/craftsman that loves his job and also like challenges and that kind breed of craftsmen rarely where safety glasses. Use a water fed proper polisher for that mirror-like finish. What u did works for that type of stone but I guarantee that will not work as well for most natural stone

Its only like 70-80 kilos, its not that heavy, but yea u gotta be strong to lift it by yourself, i used to call someone to carry pieces like that one with me , but now i do it by myself

Anybody wanna explain what a "2 cm" granite but laminated is? I just purchased a house that's under construction by KB homes in Florida and granite countertops prices ranged from $2000-$10,000. I got the cheapest $2000 but they said its level 1 granite. In the pictures it looked like a real granite but now I'm worried that it may be a something fake or very little granite.

do you know which glue is used to glue two pieces of granite or marble. For example at 1:56 the top part of that slab has a thin piece glued to it.

Great Video. Question...i need to make a plunge cut in an already installed granite backsplash without removing it. Can a rotary/combi tool accomplish this with a diamond blade??? I cannot use a disk bc of the angle. Thx

You don’t have to do it all by yourself, get a hand lifting the stone. Ive lifted them many times by myself and ended up with hernias. But overall pretty good for diy
