Unfortunately not, our product will not work as a replacement dash. It's not quite thick enough and has no good way to mount without the structure of the original dash. I'd recommend checking out a U-pull salvage, this generation of dash is SUPER easy to pull without breaking! There are some youtube videos that show where each bolt location is. I pulled three in a row in one day without breakage, if my clumsy self can do it you can too!

Why not just make a replacement? I don't want to cover it I want to repair it properly.

@@charlescalkins3485 Good luck finding a good one in the junk yard. I bought a decent one on facebook market place for $100 but it cracked down the middle while i was cleaning it over my tailgate. They are very brittle from the sun. I am probably going to buy one of these to put over it now that I've watched this video

It is so easy to remove the top part of this dash and it’s ton of trucks at the pull-a-part

​@@godcarsmoney sure there is, and I'd like to see if you can find a 20 year old dash that's not cracked to pieces, and as brittle as an egg shell. Just glued and welded mine back together that broke 15v or so pieces trying to get it out was on so I can put a dash skin on it

Yes, the screws that hold the dash in place are behind the gauge cluster bezel and under the removable dash end caps, neither of which the skin will cover.

There is not a blue for this generation of trucks, but the Graphite color can have a faint hint of blue in bright sunlight. That's most likely your color, but you'll find instructions how to confirm your color on the product page

I would not recommend trying to install the skin while the dash is out of the truck, it's actually much easier to get a great result with it in! If you do it out of the truck, it's easy to forget how the cover will fit around certain trim pieces and make a mistake, and the bezel needs to be reinstalled completely while the silicone cures.
