This is a complete breakdown of 'how to attack a 2-3 zone' using high post & low post (short corner) spacing. This is one of the best & easiest set to play against a zone in order to share the ball, moving off the ball and build triangles reading the defensive strategies.
The most vulnerable areas for a 2-3 zone defense are the High Post & the Low Post, it's very important to share the ball in order to force the defenders to move & continuously adapt their positioning and then build advantages thanks to this effective spacing.
The 2 crucial keys are moving off the ball & share the ball, you don't need to use any kind of screens, pick&roll/ballscreen...

Can you do how to beat 2-3? My team sucks at 3s. Are there any other options? Our range is only as far as 17ft

then u need to include ur big man on the high post for a pass on the dunker's spot which is one of the weakness of a 2-3 zone specially if the defenders are lazy with there hands down instead of putting there hands up for deflections, aside from that i think u will need to use screens as ur 17ft range is within the parameters of the zone defenders, or ur players can try to fake an open three point shot when the defender is closing up fast, if the defender jumps then ur player can do a one to two dribble pull up jumper within his' shooting range. remember that spacing is the main weakness of the 2-3 zone as long as u make them move away from there spot then ur doing a good job of dismantling the zone

@@Chavanun555 yes, when the center commits to ur big man in the high post like the ft line backdoor cut is open on either side, i do this most of the time when i recv the ball in the middle,

Stop watching Tactics, the best ways to beat zone defense is gather as many shooters as u can to ur team, great shooters always know what they're doing about passing, cutting and those are all u need to beat zone.

After 4 minutes I'm sorry but this is a very bad video. Sure, moving the ball is a good practice against a zone but your answer here is just "have great 3 points shooters on the wings". Nothing more ! When a team plays a 2-3 on D it is because they MAKE THE CHOICE to give you those shots and to protect the paint. So if all you do is moving the ball around and take 3s you pretty much plays exactly how the D wants you to play. And the more shots you miss, the more the zone will contract inside the paint, making it even harder to penetrate. Attacking a 2-3 zone should NEVER start settling for 3 but rather focus on creating driving lanes first.
