For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES; AND THAT HE WAS BURIED, AND THAT HE ROSE AGAIN THE THIRD DAY ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES. Ephesian 1:13=In whom ye also TRUSTED, after that ye heard the word of truth, the GOSPEL of your SALVATION: in whom also after that ye BELIEVED, ye were SEALED with that holy Spirit of promise. Honestly, this was the best video I could've found, my grandparents gave me their 2010 Dodge Caliber and my grandpa did some work on it and forgot to put a bushing on the driver side, and now he forgot what bushing he forgot and this is literally the same noise that comes from the driver side front wheel well, and this is exactly what happens to me when I hit one little bump or hump on a smooth road.

You know what's funny? Everyone heard the noise, got the knowledge, went outside and realized their noise was similar but, it ended up being a tie rod, ball joint, CV, or strut, or steering rack. Then mad cause your problem wasn't the same, came into the house as trolls and started reading comments. They found the first negative one and started repeating it over and over again. Dont listen to them. The video was short, informative, and to the point. It gave people a general knowledge of a certain front end noise and the direction to look for finding a solution. Thank you for sharing. Please dont let (O)ther (P)eoples (P)essimism get you discouraged in making more videos.

Thanks so much for this video, because for the last couple of weeks, my car has been clunking on the drivers side. Sadly my mechanic only put in these new sway bars less than four months ago, so I'm heading up there to see if he'll fix it for free. I also paid him for a full service and Warrant Of Fitness, and a new tyre, all of which cost me a fortune. Here's to hoping he won't rip me off, as this was the first time I used him. Xxx

Exactly what my 2008 Camry is doing. Thanks for the video. Makes since that the sway bar is what is connecting the 2-wheels so probably the bushings, I will check it out. In the Saturn S-series, and probably some other cars, the sway bar is an integral, necessary part of the suspension. The control arms are not wishbones and only attach to frame with one joint and the sway bar keeps control arms (and thus the wheels) in place. It's a simple, elegant, if a bit cheesy design. It's called MacPherson strut design
@Charkatak3 жыл бұрын
I think I can hear something similar on my vehicle's right rear. I tested by making sure the road imperfections would be on the left side and don't hear it. So it may seem that only right side has that but I am also not sure if the issue is with sway bar link, a bushing or a shock.

@rollmeister4 жыл бұрын
Sway bar links usually rattle on tiny bumps on the same side the damaged/worn link is. They can also make a crunching noise when turning hard and accelerating in the same direction the link is on. Bad sway bar link noise does not travel into cabin, the vibration of the sound can be heard but not felt. Sway bar bushes on the other hand are like in this video. If one bushing is bad it will likely rattle with more of a knocking sound and you can often feel it on your feet against the floor.

Hey this was a great video as I sometimes hear a “metallic clanging” is the best I can describe it on the front end of my ‘05 saturn, I do suspect the sway bar because she does lean a bit during a turn. I recently did the sway bar links and I’m sure they are fine unless I somehow broke them. How about this? What would you say could cause a clunking noise when going slowly through a parking lot for example? At city or highway speed it sounds fine, is this still a sway bar bushing? I don’t have a means of finding out on my own unless I go to a shop again lol

Thanks, I have both a rattling and a grinding noise, could it be as easy as bad sway bar bushings? I can feel thumping when I lay my on the interior above the glove compartment on the passenger side. I have also grinding noise when going straight and its terrible when going pretty slow like 30 mph but when cornering hard it stops to grind. When going 80 mph then the grinding is also gone. I started when I changed the tyres to winter tyres so I thought it was because of the tyres but something could have happened when lifting the car? I have been thinking of replacing the control arms in the front and are going to change some bad bushings in the rear of my european Ford Mondeo Mk3. Could bad bushings in the front control arms cause grinding and rattling also? It's pretty quick rattle.

Ive got a similar noise happening on the left front side of my suzuki swift. Only started after a mechanic replaced the left front strut (to pass a warrant of fitness). He left the old mount in and assured me it's on tight. Now he says he thinks it's the D bush on the left side but doesn't seem very confident. Anyone else experience something similar after replacing a strut?

My 2003 Wrangler has a knocking sound when turning the wheel, including when not in motion, and it corners badly lately. It feels like I am going to fly off the road, almost feels like one of my tires is flat. There is a lot of sway in the Jeep in general, it feels like I am rocking back and forth when driving straight and almost feels hard to control my Jeep at times. And of course this includes a horrible shaking from the front driver side when I hit around 60 MPH which may or may not be a death wobble.

so for me i get the same sound on the driver side; however, it only happens when i hit bumps on the driver side. If I hit bumps on the passenger side it makes no sound on the driver side. And my truck is a 2018 GMC Sierra with 22k miles and it has fox shocks all around with upper control arms and like a little diff spacer. other than that everything is stock. and I also have different wheels and tires but that shouldn't be causing a clunking noise.

The thing is, visually my sway bar bushing look like they've got play but, I asked the mechanic during the MOT test a week ago to check it & he said it's ok, then I asked my mechanic & also said it's ok & he only changed the lower control arm bushing 'cos that was destroyed. Throughout the life of the car I've changed the entire lower & control arm bushing, tie rods, links etc thrice but, never changed the sway bar bushing once. Don't you think the visually bad sway bar bushings is the culprit for these frequent damage on other suspension parts? I'm thinking these mechanics want me to keep coming back as that's how they put food on their table by solving problems good enough so that you have a reason to reason.

Control arm noise won’t carry over to the other side of the car so if you only hear noise on the one side even when both sides of the car hit a bump it’s probably bad control arm bushings. Ball joints are easy just turn the steering lock to lock they should squeak. Sway bar bushing and end links will make noise and carry over so if it’s just the passenger side that’s making noise but only the left side of the car hits a bump but you still hear the noise on the passenger side then it’s obviously bad sway bar bushing and end links cause the sway bar is connected to both sides so noise will carry over
@Javii965 жыл бұрын
This seems to be my issue cause if I hit speedbumps evenly, i don't hear a clunk. also if my car is parked flat and i rock it left/right, it clunks. But if my car is parked on a sideways slant, there is no clunking when I rock it.

Clunk!! Truck is lifted we want the look but not the noise. The shop that did all the work including the lift says wow we never had one that makes a clunk like that after all that work.
