Just replace my radiator and then I got a leak.🤔🤔🤔 thanks I'm gonna use your method of that air pump to figure out if its a heater hose leak too. My leak is near the same spot in this video. Thanks brother👍

Thank you . I had this exact hose go bad on me yesterday. Had a long tear in the side of it. Took me longer to track down the new hose then to replace it myself.

You need to go back repair your distributor or replace it with a new or rebuilt one. The o'ring and gasket need to be replaced because it is leaking oil (you should replace both). You should check the bearing while you have it apart. Replace them too if need be. It is easier to replace the distributor. This is what caused the heater core hose to leak - oil leaking on the hose and old age. If do NOT repair or replace the distributor eventually you will have missing issues or the engine will not start period. Also that hose that you replace will not last very long because oil breaks it down and shorten its life.

What is the part number for that hose?

@@TheStr8nicoya Should be Continental Elite 63517 that is what I purchased 2000 Honda Accord LX 4I 2.3L F23A4 ULEV .... should cross reference with IP# 16134M, 19044, 303771, 87771, 89454.........Please confirm that it correct part for your model, year, engine and country of manufacture. You might want replace the short piece of hose that connects from the firewall (heater coil inside cabin) to the valve there. It is about 3 inches of 3/8 (I believe) heater hose available at any auto store. It will be easy to replace when this hose is out. I replaced mine too. It took an extra 5 minutes.

Would a failed water pump leak from that same area because my car is leaking antifreeze like from the same area and i feel like it leaks wen the car starts heating up and eventually starts smoking cuz the antifreeze makes contact with the hot components mechanic told me it was a failed water pump car is also dried up on antifreeze

this is located on the top of the engine ur water is licated on the side of the engine so different location different issue u might had 2 leaks

@@asianmechanicguy6483 nvm actually did the pressure test and found out it was hose that was very messed up leaking way worser then the one in this video Thanks alot bouta go return the water pump mechanic tried to play me lol
