The best ministry I've see is the Hello Saints podcast. The pastor disagrees with dome LDS doctrine but educates evangelicals on who the LDS are, what their doctrine is, and how they view themselves as Christians. The pastor is non-judgmental is his weekly podcasts and give good insight into what LDS people believe.

I agree with you as a Latter Day Saint. Pastor Jeff is a good man and I appreciate his methods. Apologias method is very imprudent and kind of rude. If you want to reach a latter Day Saint, you need to invite the Holy Ghost to be the teacher. He is the revelator. This interaction though is better than ones I've seen in the past.

@@courtneyko1466 I can’t speak to Jeff’s success to converting Saints to creedal christianity you will have to ask him, but his methods are more likely to invite the Holy Ghost. Latter Day Saint missionaries are taught to avoid contention. We meet with people in their homes and teach people who are ready to listen and are humble. We don’t go and shove scripture down peoples throats and try trip people up in their words and make them feel stupid. Then put it on camera and scoff. That is what apologia does and it’s not nice or Christ like, they’re more like the Pharisees. We seek to edify and uplift and invite the Holy Ghost to be the teacher. That’s why you see so many people even In 2024 make covenants and become a member of the Lords church. Check out David Boyce 52 churches in 52 weeks. David was baptized into the church after going to 100s of different churches. He vlogged his whole experience as it was happening. We bring the Holy Ghost to people and invite them receive it. We can’t force the Holy Ghost on people. Nor will God.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. Everybody sins, we were born to it, it doesn’t matter how much you fight you will never uphold to the standard of God. That is why he manifested in the flesh, and died for the sins of the world. Because man is not, nor will he ever be perfect, God was the perfect lamb, the perfect sacrifice for us. You will not become a god. You will not inherit your own planet. You will face judgment, if you are not covered by the blood of the Lamb. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Listening to the husband talk certain points, "There is a big universe out there... has to be other worlds with people on them..." no, no there doesn't, because we go back to the Scriptures for our objective standard that God gave us. God told us exactly what he did, the whole creation account. It is mindboggling to know that in the end, our Lord God is going to do away with the heavens (entire universe that we know) and the earth, and make a new heavens and a new earth, and then we will see New Jerusalem descend from the heavens to rest upon the new earth, and it will be beyond anything we could dream of. I just feel terrible knowing that many are going to choose eternal separation, because they chose to follow a false prophet, follow a different spirit, and put their eternal souls on the line in a different doctrine, when the Scriptures give us God's own words telling us exactly how to live, how to guard against false doctrine and false prophets, teachers, etc, and how to test every prophet, every spirit, and word uttered.

The “pastors” were looking for a spirit of contention and just relayed an excessive amount of information. @@raymorrow1491 sorry but you don’t read the Bible in its purity. You’ve put on the glasses of what the world has chosen for you. Only 2 people exemplified a Christlike attitude here and it was the couple. They aren’t trying to “reach lost Mormons”, they might say they are and act like it, but in reality they like the views and money, otherwise they wouldn’t film their interactions and would be more kind. Empirically evident that if Christ the Lord walked the same streets today these two pharisaical hypocrites would try and tell Jesus that he's not following the Bible properly and misinterpreting scripture and that he should sort of stop in his tracks and reconsider scriptures. And they would tell Jesus that they are true Christians and that Christ needs to get on board or else he will be ultimately doomed.

Good question. IMO it's about what a person is becoming,..is she trying to become more like Christ or is she moving further away from Christ . I think the savior will be more merciful than we sometimes are aware of. And I believe if she sincerely prays to and asks for his redemptive blood to save her And help her live a cleaner life, Then yes definitely. Memorizing Bible quotes will help. But the words by themselves, or the bible by itself are meaningless unless one takes advantage of the blood of Christ and his gift to us.
