In all the videos I’ve seen, using the self close spring, no one has mentioned there is a front & back to the spring. Looking at it, one end is larger. When I converted to Intertap, the directions were fairly clear that the larger end goes into the shank.

Taking it apart, I took mine apart to clean now it doesn't flow correctly.

Is there any tool out there that will assist in removing the faucet spout when it seems to be screwed on so tight that it won't budge?

@@scottwithrow7791 Thanks for the reply, but it issue is not between the faucet and the shank, the issue is with the spout ON the faucet.

@@RayBilyk Ahh yeah I see. I personally just soak it in PBW with the spout on for a bit then use one of those grippy rubber jar opening pads and that usually let's me get the crusty spout off.
