I am 70. Did my first imperfect kip some time ago. Trying to duplicate. Without a doubt this is the best video explanation of the kip. The slow motion parts were great. Exercises and progressions are great. Your explanation SUPERB. You mention other progressions and exercises. Would love to see more of your videos. Thanks so much.

When you realize you did the same mistake over and over again. So if I understood correctly: I simply hang in there in piked position and start pulling after my back gets passed the bar? I've read when you are straight it's good to extend shoulders (head gets in front of shoulders) & get your legs fast to the bar and from there pull hard. But that would mean you pull directly after getting legs to the bar. From this video I understand it's wrong. And I know I always end up behind the bar so probably you are right
