You must prime all bare metal! The implement paint actually adhered better to the rusty areas vs the few bare areas that i didn’t get with primer. Make sure the temps are not to cold or to hot. Park the trailer in a shaded area or else the paint will blister. The more thinner you use the more bubbles you may get. You can knock bubbles down with brush. To avoid air bubbles use less paint thiner. Mineral spirits might work better for this reason.

Thanks, My trailer is odd and has a wooden deck under metal so I couldn’t paint it but have been keeping up on the axles with spray paint.

I didn’t add any harden but thinking on it now it may not have been a bad idea. The advantage would be a more durable. I would give it a shot!

@@Zacpactv thanks! I’m finishing building a little Offroad trailer and was looking at using the farm and tractor paint. The trailer is so small I don’t want to mess with the paint Gun so I will probably just roll it on. Thanks for the video

Do you have to thin the paint to brush and roll the paint on ?

you definitely want a thinner for results like mine or you will have brush marks. i rolled mine on out of the can and splashed thinner on when as needed no need to mix it in the paint.
