I'm so happy that right when I decide to get a Dreamcast and get back into Mvc2, I find this video. This is amazing work. Of course, I struggled with the ROM back in the day, and I haven't yet tested if I can do it based off your instruction, but what I do know is that I already understand quite a bit more about the mechanics of it than I ever have before. So, thank you! I feel like if this video existed before, I may not have ever put the game down to begin with. But my timing with the df air dash was all wrong, and I can see that now bc of your video.

I remembered spending my summer in 2009 practicing the infinite i was grinding so hard on PS3 i remembered getting infinited for the first time and thought it was cool! i read those 2006 eventhubs and game FAQs forums followed by watching DJB13 combo bible collection videos... man I was barely doing the rom i was too fast or too slow no rhythm I got out of school headed straight home, and I did it on my PS3 controller it just clicked lol I was trying to do it on cable at first which was too hard not like cap commando or black heart hard but still... i have a video on my page (years later) I play on stick now but definitely have that execution heavy magneto.... I won't forget the struggle

After like 9 years.....I finally got it. It's not perfect but I'm semi able to do it with an xbox controller.... I had a random light bulb moment....."why dont i just map my right trigger to lp hp? So i can dash with just the right trigger. Made it so much easier

A tip for pad players, bind one of your shoulder buttons (R1/L1) to both punches for easier air dashes :) Great content btw :D

i saw a guy who made a infinite jumping downward kick with magneto, it straight up looked like a glitch tbh but he could do it at will.

I thought that after the air dash, you HAVE to use his sj.down Lk, not the neutral one.

Here's a harder challenege, do Magneto normal jump Air dash down forward medium kick infinite up to 30 hits in Xmen vs Street fighter with no Macro's. Xmen v SF airdash alone is 3punches, Mag harder to play in that then in Mvc2

I did my first actual ROM last night! Only 2 reps but will be going for more today. Huge thanks, the timing part helped a lot. Edit: I have to do the press -> press method for plinking the air dash to light kicks...the swipe method gives me cramps for some reason. Different strokes for different folks, pun intended lol

I wonder how come they did not put a stop on him like they did to Venom. Venom also has a continuation but for some reason after the 2nd attempt he kinds of freezes and can not continue.

All the characters have infinite combos? I've seen a few videos where the game just freezes if you do a certain combo ir action, that would be cool to see!

what an infinit combos, NICELY done 👍🏽 i'm into fighting games but not this one, each of it's installment, Capcom VS SNKs, Capcom VS Marvels etc somehow it's too much flashy for me, so often by the end of round 1 in a match, i end up feeling dizzy and nauseous 🤷🏽‍♀️🤔

You can’t do super saiyan you can’t talk to me Learned on pad Learned on stick Learned it on hitbox When I was doing it for hours I could it in match without looking You can do magic series up and three hits down on sentinel on small characters only been able to do it three times (reps) before I have to bring them closer to the ground Sj lk squar dash down lk mp mk (repeat) carry to the corner and covers a lot of space instead of the lk mk method These methods work on smaller characters but you have to adjust the height with spacing out the hits and timing or just add in sj lk tri dash lk mk to keep it simple pull them lower to the ground...then do the more advance version on the smaller characters Easy stuff All of this for that magnetic grab tempest
