Hello Everyone,
Welcome to the creative Cove.
Todays tutorial is a fun and easy going follow along with me quickie sketch.
I love drawing mushroom. Not sure why it’s just so fun and I love to see them in journals. There is nothing more satisfying then flipping through a journal and seeing your own little hand drawn masterpieces. At least in my humble opinion.
So grab some paper scraps and a pen or pencil and let’s get sketching’ !

your videos are amazing. They present complex things so simply, they encourage you and give you confidence in your abilities. Your comments and explanations delight and inspire. When I drew a mushroom and read the translated subtitles of your “frowning face” at the moment of drawing the mushroom stem, it was simply amazing. Indeed, for a minute a sad smile appeared under the hat; I would never have noticed it myself. Thank you!!!

I’m so psyched you appeared in my feed. I’ve sketched the first 3 shrooms and am so excited about how they came out. I’m up WAaaY past my bedtime (2:30am) yikes so I’ll have to watch the rest tomorrow but had to tell u how much I’m loving your instruction and subjects

Thank you for the tutorial! When I saw your drawings, I thought: "Wow. They look like illustrations from a picture dictionary!" And now I have 5 sketches that I drew myself. And they turned out good enough. Your explanations are very helpful. My son loved your tutorial too! He's 11 and doesn't speak English, but he just repeated after you and drew two toad-stools. Ok, I just did the other two, following along and having so much fun using my sketchbook and pencil and yes, my eraser too. Much practice is needed but thank you for steering me in a fun, explorative direction. You are awesome.

Je n'ai pas dessiné depuis des décennies et je souhaitais secrètement m'y remettre mais je manquais de confiance en mon coup de crayon. Votre vidéo m'a aidée à vaincre mon blocage. J'ai eu beaucoup de plaisir à dessiner ces petits champignons et je suis contente du résultat, même si ce n'est pas parfait. Une expérience à renouveler certainement. Merci infiniment!

I drew all 5 mushrooms with a pen! I was debating using a pencil, I always use pencil in drawing. This was so exciting for me❤

I can't draw. But love mushrooms and fairy houses so came across that video first but you said you had this video so here I am practicing away :DSOO MUCH FUN! And they look like mushrooms! Who knew I could do that? :) But I do still struggle with the last one, so gonna try it a fourth time now. They become very dark for me. and the parts that kind of fold over gets lost. So I'll keep practising until I feel ready to tackle the fairy houses mushrooms :) Thank you for this, easy to follow, tutorial!! Love it!

Glad to get sketching again with you - I still can't believe that my drawings end up as recognisable as they do! I store them in a 'Qickie sketches' book - and can see improvements as I practice pictures. Thanks so much for showing us how to draw informally and to enjoy trying it out x
