Bird labels and ephemera-quickie sketch

I hope this video gives you some incentive to create your own little masterpieces by sketching out the things you love to put in your journal.

i tried drawing with you today im going to keep practicing ,ive been making art for many years ,i still have so much to do to get to where i want to be,i can paint pretty well ,drawing is a bit harder for me,thank you ,i have 1 music book thay are fun ,

Amazon sells rulers to create deckeled edges. You get more of a row edge. I use them with my watercolor paper.

I've been binge watching your videos in the dark of night!! so I really couldn't comment, but , oh my goooooodness, I love your work. You make everything look so darn easy and it always looks great!! My bird beaks turn out all bent and crooked, my bees..... same!! But it is so gracious of you to teach us your tricks and shortcuts. Thanks so much for that. Love the little birdie journal, my fave!!

So enjoyed the video. Birds do take me a while, I believe it is the shading that I need more practice time with. However, I do so enjoy the practice. Thank you for working with one of my favorites. *Debbie*

More online learning for me today...I love the folded pockets - simple to do, but very effective! If I can work out how to get on Instagram I will show my first beginners efforts which turned out much better than expected due to your clear explanations. Thanks a lot!

Since you asked, I’d love to see you draw some Japanese-ish items, like cherry trees/blossoms, lanterns, fans, etc. And “wackload” is my new favorite word. lol

Sorry. Sometimes they don’t load right away. Not sure why that is. My captions are on but it doesn’t always load. And then sometimes it shows up a few days later. Any ideas how I can fix that I would love to know. Sorry for the inconvenience.
