Which alas it is, but I love how you slowed down & talked about other fashion aspects, such as traditional on screen cinema vamps. Or like the original first run Connery-era James Bond films. Hell yeah, as a main Romantic Essence I loved this video soo much! Hyped up for Classic Essence as well! Something I had thought about but hadn't really solidified until seeing this video, that could be a good reference for Dark Romantic Essence is the archetypical beautiful Italian widow. I'm talking about that faux/pulp/fantastical imagery of full black with lots of lace and fitted clothing, dark makeup, perfectly coiffed hair, pearls and religious jewelry (and not real widows of course). Seeing those pics of Alexa Demie wearing that lace veil made me think of this and reminded me of that ad with Monica Bellucci for Sicily perfume that heavily relies on this. Another good example would be Rachel Weisz in My Cousin Rachel, who could also be categorized as a femme fatale IMO. To me, this archetype combines sensuality/beauty with the darkness of death but with a bit of a twist that feels fitting to the a Dark Romantic Essence.

I LOVE that you're going over dark styles. I really want to see where you might put punk overlaps in these essences too! I know adding masc, enby or plus figures might complicate things even further but still, I'd love to see you're take! Thaks so much for this :)

I loved this ❤ I agree completely with all of your picks. I love wearing corset details, velvet, puff/balloon sleeves, dark floral prints, and anything like a vintage romance novel cover. Also heart motifs are gorgeous. I've even felt inspired to pull some of these valentines day colors & gothic castle vibes into my home decorating as well. I also find inspiration for my Romantic wardrobe in some 1980s art too, like in fantasy illustration, Kate Bush, and movies like the Lost Boys :) great video! I can't express how happy I am to have found your channel and can't thank you enough for making these videos! This has to be one of my essences. My closet is filled with balloon sleeves, corsets, Basque waist garments, slip dresses, golds, garnets, filigree, velvets, lots of black and red as well as gothic crosses. I'm obsessed with Regal Roses cathedral jewelry and own them in silver and gold. My biggest struggle is toning my style down for everyday wear because I hate being stared at or asked "what's the occasion". I think I'll take your advice on fitted cardigans! Thank you so much.

I'm a theatrical romantic w/ romantic dramatic essence, and dark romantic is the style that I'm really drawn to! My only problem is that my seasonal color is true spring so black can make me look dull and sick hahaha and the only red that looks good on me is tomato red 😅 and the "black" on my palette is dark brown HAHAHA so I don't know how I'm gonna make this work 😭 because of my seasonal color I feel like I'm gonna have a bit of natural essence too, but I'm not drawn to it tbh

I put in effort over months to find my essences and i felt my strongest essence was Romantic but didnt know whether my second was gamine ir ingenue but i knew i didnt feel at home in my kibbie SG gamine essence and wearing clothes to the gamine essence just made me look like i was wearing a costume and made look even younger . You said you think my main essence is romantic too in a past comment. I had my essences looked at ,in order mine are Romantic , Ingenue , gamine , dramatic , classic . I feel like i vibe better with dramatic hints than gamine hints but its official i barely have a gamine essence , yet im a kibbie gamine 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 i definitely found Kirchner's essences to be the most helpful in styling in general although i have learnt a lot from kibbie the essences have opened a door to being comfortable in my wardrobe. I really relate to everything you have mentioned in this video . I recently found sweatheart necklines to look the best on me and yet i only have one top with this neckline 🫣 its one of my favourites. Its so difficult to find a top with this neckline that i like. I feel like I have some romantic essence but rather in my body. I feel like in the face I'm more confused. People often refer to me as ethereal or Renaissance-like. But i also am very youthul. So I can't understand if there's some ethereal, ingenue or classic as secondary components

Okay, where do I start, first for months I've been looking up stuff about Kibbe/Kitchner and I'm still confused. It makes no sense, facial features and body types aren't matched like that. Just because someone has full lips, doesn't mean they will have a curvy body. And people should wear what they are attracted to, my body may be more gamine or ethereal, or whatever, but I like the matte lipsticks you mention for romantics. And I don't think most DARK aesthetic types would be caught dead with heart shaped jewelry, it's too cutesy, more LIGHT aesthetics- girls who LOVE pink, and yellow.

Huge question for you: Do you think, the older one gets, the more they might portray their actual sun sign rather than coming across as their rising sign? I mean, if one gets really deep into their core, their actual real self, the inside, the base, the truest form of themselves. The reason I ask: The older I get, the more I feel like I give off the vibe of my sun sign rather than my rising sign (or first house). Visually and in terms of vibes. I am a Scorpio sun sign, Gemini rising. And while I know I felt like a Gemini when I was younger, I now come across more and more like a Scorpio. And I wonder, could this be actually correct for anyone who would be willing to dive into their own depths rather than living a life far from their true self and true needs? I don't feel connected to the ways Gemini risings are usually visually described or showcased. But I feel deeply connected to Scorpio rising descriptions and visuals. I overall feel deeply connected to my sun sign and even though I got a personal birth chart reading which is pretty accurate for me, I don't feel like it still applies now that I am older. I got that done when I was 12 but I got it done for a "grown up" because I felt so "mature" already back then. Whenever I read it again, I feel like it describes my past pretty well. From when I was 12 to when I was in my late 20's. But since then? Not anymore. That's weird to me. Like the story isn't written yet. Which in a mystical story book would mean I have to write it myself, but you know, I never wanna stop learning and exploring, so, maybe someone has gotten some sort of answers for me or a hint that would inspire me somehow. [I indeed am a very spiritual yet analytical person. I get called macabre quite often, cynical, dark and scary. But only by those I wanna show this part of myself to.] By the way, I am a Kibbe DC and it took me 7+ years to figure that out. I totally understand why you don't wanna create Kibbe content anymore. Yet I am so at ease with that Image ID FINALLY. I felt so off in any other ID and the moment I saw the balance within me, the slight "edge" on top, I was like "OMG why was I not able to see this earlier?!", and while I was fully aware of why I wasn't, I still felt stupid. Why I meantion this? Because I feel like I would have never been able to see this in an earlier age. I had baby fat on my bones for a very long time (even in my late 20's and early 30's, even when underweight) and also had intense weight fluctuations during puberty (which may or may not have taken way longer than it usually should). And on top of that I feel like DC goes quite well with how I identify as a Scorpio sun sign. A Kibbe Dramatic would be perfect for a Scorpio as well, but in my case DC makes sense, because maybe the Gemini rising balances parts of the Scorpio sun (to the outside) so that it doesn't appear so intense and dark. l find it all very fascinating and fun to explore. I really am all about fully understanding myself. And I feel like I have a few too many "phoenix from the ashes" moments for one person alone. But that might be typical for a Scorpio sun? I wish I could just casually chat with you while having a coffee. Not because you are focusing on topics like that but mainly because you feel like a person I would get along with very well. Like it would instantly click. Sounds creepy? If so, I am very sorry, but it's just what I honestly think. Making friends feels hard nowadays. And while I don't need friends, I feel like a part of me misses the connection. Why am I getting sentimental now? Anyways... I look forward to your new videos, something tells me they'll be very interesting to watch.
