Thanks for this. I have a great pair that I'm desperately trying to save. They were inexpensive and last a really long time, which is almost never heard of, even for over-ear. I never knew about baking soda + super glue. I may not be able to save mine though, as the headband is quite thin. But, fingers crossed... And before anyone asks, yes I looked for them again, but they've disappeared & the ebay seller I got them from is no longer selling any items it seems, so I just don't know. These magical headphones came into my life apparently from the Twilight Zone & I have to find something else at some point. LOL - Sadly it didn't work. My headband is so thin, wire underneath, & then a thick foam cushion. It's an odd construction. But it still works. I can wear it on my head. I reached for it after it dried & snap, broken again. I can still use it, it's just looser on the right side. I wish there was a way to clamp it to my head for maximum efficiency.

Probably baking soda. It goes well with cyanoacrylate superglue.

No, I have glued more than 50 headphones this way, and none have broken in the same spot. They always break in a different spot, but not where they were glued

dunno, its nice and all, but if you factor in time and raw DIY materials that you purchased to repair these headphones... AND the fact that this model of headphones after 1 year will most likely lose 30% of the value... you are better off just buying a new one OR used from Amazon Warehouse... its much better time spent

these materials cost less than $5 and take about 1 hour. it's zero waste for nature and you wallet also.
