Professor Norman Farb, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto Mississauga, where he directs the Regulatory and Affective Dynamics laboratory.

How do we access more than 5 of our senses? Are there more than 5 senses? This concept of sense forgeing is super enlightening. I’ve been meditating for more than 30 years. This is exactly a new way that I’ve been wanted to grow.

This reminds me of the Buddhist tale of the monk who is outraged for 2 days after seeing his abbot carry a nun across a river. The monk finally challenges his master for touching a female. The abbot replies, "I carried that woman for five minutes. You've been carrying her for 2 days." Letting go is a different way of relating to reality. For me it's a remindet to accept what is.
