By quick connect do you mean it can't be used for soda stream? I'm trying to learn as much as i can before getting a sodastream because i like soda but the amount of plastic it uses intense.

To get to your question Simpli Soda uses screw on type only. Sodastream has both screw on and quick connect just depends on your machine.

What do we do with them if we don’t want the program? It’s cheaper to get them at Canadian tire.

Yeah so most companies will take your empty canisters. Ask Canadian Tire if they will do an exchange. Also make sure Canadian Tire is beverage grade co2, if it's not it can have oil and other contaminated materials in it.
