Really helpful, if only to find out that (for what I need) I should probably just stay in Logic...so, thanks for saving me a whole heap of time finding that out the hard way!

A few clicks of the Level Up arrow at the top left of the score editor should take you to the full score display. It's been awhile since I used the Logic editor in any depth, but tweaking the quantize, interpretation, synchronization, etc. can change the display of notes without changing the playback.

Thanks! Useful. Although i'm not sure why when i've imported my track into musecore i don't have the option to change the sounds to the musecore library sounds? I only have the option of using external plugins i use for logic. Any help would be appreciated.

Can’t for the life of me figure out how to have musescore read my exported drum xml as drums, but reads it as piano etc. Not sure if some other software could do it better.

I tried doing this with my score but it ended up showing only the first instrument I selected can u please help ?

3:37 I do talk about this at this point in the video, to add to what I say, I think by clicking off (or away from) any tracks it will populate the score with all your tracks, a bit counterintuitive I know, or you can put all your instruments in a group like I did in the video and select that. Hope that helps!

Why is it that when I export a Music XML file from Logic in Muse score 3, order to add a grace note, because LOGIC will not upload it (grace note) to xml, and then I try back from Muse Score 3 to Logic, it shows me bullish shit. I am talking about drums notation

Hmm good question, have you tried exporting just the midi instead of xml and see what that spits out? Might be one of those you have to manually do transfer it over :/

What the problem with Logic's Score Editor? Im a new to this and would like to know. Thanks.

It’s not as flexible or as simple to get complex scores, it’s more of a side thing with logic, MuseScore I would say is easier to use by far. Also it doesn’t always translate what you’re notating, for example I have my shorts (staccatos) on one track and my legatos on another, but on a score I would have that on 1 stave. With the midi you have more control of the shape of the sound, the score editor (personally) I feel limits that. Sometimes I like a more natural sound so I will record my self playing, and naturally some notes will be ever so slight off time (which is what I want) but the score editor looks a mess

How do I transfer a WAV or MP3 into a file version that's compatible with Musescore?
@Joe-blogcomposer4 ай бұрын
Sadly I don't think that's possible

this process is much more efficient with Dorico it could be nice to show how it works
@Joe-blogcomposer Жыл бұрын
I’ll get right onto that, thanks for the comment!

is this only accessible in the paid version of sibelus?

No it should be accessible in the free one too!

Logic is so not smart with changing between windows and selecting/deselecting. In my regular workflow with plugins, using the internet/Spotify/Splice/etc I feel like I spend half my life clicking/Re selecting windows for every single thing 🙃
