Hello sharing is caring fam!
Welcome to my next 3D art tutorial using fabric (kitchen towel) and my spackle plaster mixture. I love using kitchen towels since they are easier to shape then regular fabric. But you can ofc use this method with cotton fabric.
It was also my first time using spray paint and spray varnish. It was super easy and reduced the time and effort. But like I said in the tutorial, spray thin layers with the spray varnish lol.

I've many DIY craft tutorials on my "nicolinasavmarker" Instagram, including fabric art tutorials and my favourite ones. Textured 3D art with metal mesh! You can use Spackling, Wall Filler, Joint Compound or Plaster to make this minimalistic paintings. I combine different techniques and materials to create textured and 3D art. Thank you for this brilliant tutorial. I have seen people make these plaster paintings before, but none of them has been as good as yours. Your painting is the nicest one i've seen on KZfaq. You are very clear and easy to understand in your video. This was the first time I had seen one of your videos and I really like your relaxed method of teaching. Hello! This is incredible thank you for sharing. I had a question about doing this on a large scale. Is it possible to put the cloth into a large mixture initially. Then for the second coat painting on by hand? Thank you for your help

This is so cool. I'm wondering if you keep the mixture thick; could it be piped through a frosting tip, like a cake decorating tip? And keep its shape?

tried the wire technique but have not been totally happy. I think the issue is the wire I ended up with. This looks easy. I actually have some old sheets that would work well.

Hii! Big fan of your work and thank you for making very specific tutorials! 🌸 I wanted to ask, how would you do it if you wanted lets say only half of the canvas to be 3D? Just glue it with the gun? I just dont want it to fall on my head😂🙏🏼

Hello Viktorie! Oh thank you so much :D Yes you can glue down the fabric or staple it (and then cover with the mixture). The different ways to create with this is endless!

Could you tell me if the plaster will crack over time,especially with gravity if I hang it on a wall

I don’t use only plaster so can’t speak for that. But some of mine has been hanging for over an year, time will tell but it’s made of sturdy materials 😊

Thank you for sharing. Have you tested to see if the finished art piece cracks over a period of time say after 2 or more years? Secondly would you kindly do a video showing how you package the art pieces say to a client?

No problem 😊 I’ve only been doing this for about a year, no problem so far. Got me thinking about stucco’s which is made of plaster on people’s ceiling? Or spackle/wall filler in the walls? That doesn’t fall off 😊 So I’m hoping for the best lol 😃
