Hi, thank you for your video,and i got a question about your brushes ,the black ones with that finger rest thing :) what are they? are they good?

Hi Alex. Those black brushes were a pretty cheap buy from Amazon and yet I've found them surprisingly durable. They also come in micro sizes which is pretty useful. 'micro fine detail paint brush set of 12' is the search I used. 😊

I assume you let the paint dry before you iron it

Yes, I'd recommend letting it dry for 24 hours before ironing it. It can get a bit sticky if you iron it too early for certain paints.

Pabeo, tulip or dylon fabric paints all work well for this kind of project.

Hello, yes once it's set into the fabric, you can wash it. Depending on the paint you use, you will either need to heat set it with a cloth and iron. Or some paints set after 36 hours. The instructions will give you more info. I always recommend hand washing garments that have been hand painted.

Just paint a white base. Then paint over it.

Yes, that also works too as long as you've planned exactly what you're going to draw first and there'd be less room for spontaneity as you'd get white marks exposed if you adapted your ideas as you went along.

@@narshsart3620 I have a red fabric paint that would just dry up very transparent and thin, should I mix white to add opaque or white base? great vid!

@@thecreatornyc2480 hi, I've had this happen before, it was like it separated out and had a layer of what looked like oil on the surface of the paint. Think I tried mixing it thoroughly but, as I recall, it wasn't the best even after that. You could try mixing white fabric paint with it, may turn pink though. Or if you have fabric medium and acrylic red paint, mix those 2 part paint to 1 part fabric medium and use that.
