Robin, great video you are wise beyond your years. I too request that you do a video on emotional resilience since I think it's easy to get stuck in the anxiety churn of being down on ourselves for just dealing with the our anxious minds. When you mentioned building your emotional resilience it just gave me pause in a good way because I felt like there is another more optimistic way to perceive things.

also would love to see another video with things we can physically do to combat this worry. i don’t know if this is common for other people but i struggle with this form of worry everyday and ive been getting more in touch with my inner self through meditation but feel like there’s no good answer to this fear other than “this is just how the world is, it’s not good or bad, it just is.” and i guess i want more answers

Such a wonderful video ❤ I definitely fall into pitfalls of "the world is inherently awful and unsafe", but these days while I grapple with this new chapter of my life (that I have told you about), I focus on my glimmers. For those who read this and don't know what glimmers are, they are the opposite of triggers - things that make you smile and appreciate the beauty of life. For me, that's making a coffee in the morning, looking at the colours of flowers, making pasta, hahaha! Like wow, I am so LUCKY to be in a position to see glimmers. My country sucks (in terms of government 😅) but it is safe. I am in a safe place to explore these glimmers and truly SAVOUR these moments (:

Good advice, Robin! I would add that one way to feel safe, is to remember that you are not the body and mind. You are the true self, or the soul, which is pure consciousness, and that is beyond harm. You would have to be uninformed and unrealiistic, to be optimistic about the future of human civilization. However, you should be optimistic about your own potential and your own trajectory toward personal growth, happiness and fulfillment, regardless of external conditions. You should regard the world as naturally imperfect and challenging, by design. The world is not meant to be a perfect world. The world cannot be made into a perfect world. Do not postpone your happiness, waiting for the world to become a perfect world.

Also I'd love to see a video on emotional resiliance! I have learned so much from you, but I'd love to have a video to call back on and reference to, sort of like revision! 😂 11:27 I also avoid the news more than other people. I watch the headlines, I am aware enough of what is happening, but I know what to avoid in order to preserve my mental health (:

i’ve been addicted to your meditations and would love to see one focusing on this form of existential dread, i know there’s not really a word for “worrying about the state of the world” but a lot of my existential dread surrounds exactly what you were talking about in this. i follow your meditations every day and would love some more guided ones or recommendations for other meditation channels anyone loves!

just knowing right haha that someone else goes through it like no one worries in life but the existential dread is serious but if someone close to me was going through it i dont know what id do its weird

Amazing Video ❤ thanks for covering that topic. Maybe an other thing that helps is to realize that we often interpret things as horrible but we actually have no idea how it really affects the future and what would have happened of that thing didn’t happen. For example: We don’t know yet how Climate change really affects humanity, maybe it’s the necessary problem that helps humanity to more sustainability etc. if that kinda makes sense so in shot, why fear something if our mind isn’t even capable to see the bigger picture, seeing into the future 😅 Have a great weekend ❤😊 ur all the best and capable of challenging every problem in ur life

Oh wow yes it made me think about two related quotes "sometimes a no is just a detour to a better yes" "trust that when the answer is no, there's a better yes down the road". Sometimes we can end up blessing an experience, at the personal or collective scale. We never know what is going to happen, what good a perceived bad can bring. Thanks for this nugget of wisdom!
