Hi there. If Toronto is just a layover - meaning you don’t leave clear zone in the airport - your final destination should be Montreal. There’s no covid tests required, you just need to be fully vaccinated. The app is filled out within 3 days of your departure and before you board your flight. For example, if you are leaving on August 30th, you can fill it out starting August 27th

Hi Oscar. Current rules don’t accept Sputnik as one of approved vaccines. In your case, you will be considered “not fully vaccinated” and will have to quarantine at the address you provide at AreiveCAN - officials will be contacting you and checking on your symptoms etc. You can choose to have your second dose of approved vaccine before coming to Canada, but this needs to be done at least 14 days before your flight. In this case you will be considered fully vaccinated

Hi Margo. As of October 1st, 2022 ArriveCAN is no longer mandatory. You are not required to submit it. If you do have items that are required to be declared, you can submit a declaration through ArriveCAN for convenience, or fill out right on the border. Regarding different airports, if after Montreal you are leaving Canada and flying to Halifax from another country, you’ll need to submit your declaration again. But you have an internal flight from Montreal to Halifax - no need for that.

Hi there. You should choose Entry by land, and in port of arrival you need to choose the border crossing you will be coming through. Most likely it is going to be Peace Arch if you’re taking Highway 5-Highway 90, but please check your route to see the exact border crossing.

We're traveling from the US just to take a cruise and just staying overnight before embarkation and we are all fully vaccinated. Do we still need to have a 14-day quarantine plan?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Eleanor, our assumption is you would need to specify the cruise ship location as your “quarantine plan”. There’s a list of rules for travellers of cruise ships, which you can find here: travel.gc.ca/travel-covid/travel-restrictions/cruise

Hi, thank you very much fro the video - I have a question - I have EU proof of vaccination on English, but it only indicates the date of my last received dose. I mean, it says that I've been vaccinated 2 times, but only 2nd dose information is indicated. How can I upload this to Arrivecan if it asks for 1st and 2nd dose?
@natashtepa
@natashtepa 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Dorian, I believe the app lets you fill out vaccine information manually, so you can use that option to specify information about dose 1. As for the uploads, the app allows to upload one image, so you can upload your EU certificate there

@natashtepa
@natashtepa 2 жыл бұрын
Hi there Happy Camper! Since both, Pfizer and Moderna, are officially approved by Canada, you will qualify as a “fully vaccinated” category. So there’s no issues to fill out one application for all your family. Just add your family members as additional travellers, as shown on 3:54 in this video
