Hi, Ron your KZfaq videos are really good, I think I first heard about you on Doug's channel. I. have a very similar process to you have had 3 really good writers from Upwork, I like you started off with detailed briefs but now just summit the article title as they understand my business. The big advantage over using a freelance writer over content mills is the content is constant as it was written by the same people. I have to say though its taken a few years to find those 3 quality writers.

Orange. Great video! I'm with you on hiring personally... Have not had good experience with content mills so far. However, have you tried WriterAccess? I like their promise of finding "specialized writers"... but I'm dubious still.. Wondering if you've used them at all...?

Lol @ Orange. It works! I have not tried WriterAccess, no need. I'd rather find the right writer myself and go from there.

Great video, Ron! Do you hire editors to edit the articles or you expect your writers to do most of the editing work or you edit the articles?

I expect my writers to put in an almost finished product and either myself or my editor will review them prior to posting.

I hired a VA for this out of the Philippines. My thought is, why pay someone $10-$15 an hour when you could have someone else do it for half the price?

Hi Ron, Hope you are doing well! Watched your video it was great and helpful, I have one question regarding hiring a freelance writer i am not native english speaker so i need someone to help me write articles for me but how would i measure the quality of article since i don't have good command on Grammar and stuff?

You can run it through grammarly and/or the hemmingway app. Hemmingway is tough to get a great score on, but between the two, you should be okay as the editor. Also, I wouldn't disclose that you are not a native English speaker.
