How to find Operation Daredevil Aces SU57 Calamity and F22 Tempest "Mission 19 Lighthouse"

Unsure how to unlock the final named aircraft skins for the SU57 and the F22A Raptor in Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown? Then you have come to the right place.
During Operation daredevil, The code-name for the nineteenth mission of the game, AKA Mission 19 Lighthouse, You have to complete a certain criteria for the special aircraft to spawn in, In this guide I show you simply how to make the special aircraft appear, and then how to unlock it!
As part of an ongoing series I am going to show you how to unlock, find and shoot down all the Aces / special aircraft in the Campaign Assault Records in Ace Combat 7. Gaining all of these skins may contribute to a secret achievement or the Bird Of Prey achievement. So subscribe and follow me on this journey!

Kinda had a bit of a realization. In mission 18, Mihaly says to trigger the following: "There are pilots like you in every generation. And I felled every last one of them." You have to defeat all the aces in every mission to get his skin for the strike wyvern You literally have to become Mister X to earn his plane.

Tip for finding the SU-57 Use Stealth finding capabilities. (A.k.a anti Stealth microwave radar or whatever its called) It will spot him on his way into the battle

I find out at good times, and with the same calamity, none of them appear on the radar... I've already got the liverys, also the one for the f-22 raptor tempest, although they haven't been the most difficult either, I still haven't been able to get the one for the F -35 mantis, dammit...

I just did it right now and my theory is: ok you have to gain at least 20000, in that moment tempest will apear, destroy it and immediately calamity will appear escaping from the center of the map to the south, you have to intercept it before he escape. I wait this is helpful

I loved watching the 2nd part of the video when you were showing us the all the aces' skins on all the planes with listening to the music. Even though the music did not go through all the aces because from Pyro to Faucon you were talking and then from Gazeller to the end I loved it with the music. Thanks for the video.

The ace su-57 appears inside the map once you hit the 17,000 points he's west-northwest from the space elevator flying close to the clouds I'm reversing when you first appear when you see the space of elevator a Direction

Just got it myself. The part that helps finds stealth fighters helped 1000%. He appeared in the south actually flying towards the fight.

I find it pretty funny that the F-22 gets into the thick of the battle, but the Su-57 runs away like a coward. Reminds me of IRL how the F-22 is just chomping at the bit for some actual action but the Su-57 has only ever been used in parades and stand-off shots.

I recommend that you fly a plane with PLS as an SPW, or the ADF-11 with the UAV so that you can focus on other planes, letting your UAVs defeat the Aces.

What a journey. Thanks dude... Straight 2 day i play just to get all these Aces The hardest one probably Gazelle, Spider, Mantis, Calamity & Tempest. But the most hardest one for me probably Gazelle because you need to destroy all the oil tankers in time Spider idk... It also the hardest but i just didn't feel it. Maybe because it's one of my favourite mission, Faceless soldier cause i love all those Pilot and AWACS dialogue Mantis at first it feel hard... But actually it also the easiest one cause all you need is just fly through the rail. The point doesn't matter And then the final two... Yeah those Arsenal Bird weapon is annoying And again thanks dude for making this list. I can't wait what challenge they gonna put next in Ace combat 8

Just got these two with the Falken and I was really struggling to try to survive the second part due to the Arsenal Bird's laser and the awkward placement of its weak points. I was mentally biting my nails trying to gun it down as I ran out of missiles and you can forget about the carrier landing. Managed to manually nail it and got my third and second to last aces. I need to get Mantis and then I'm finished. Thanks for making these, it's been a hell of a ride and I can't wait to try out some of these paint schemes.

Pretty TAF I was messing up on the score part but then cane in with Quams and targeted only SU 30 and F22 got to 20 k with 3 minutes remaining.

So I was playing through this just to get the funds to unlock all the aircraft and test them out, and along the way I did unlock all of the skins, but my air-to-air agility is nowhere near yours so I just used the weird alien jet thing with lasers to finally get the last two.

You can die during the arsenal bird fight. The game saves it before the checkpoint so if you restart from checkpoint during the boss fight they will stay shoot down.

EpicThe112 is stay and unlock the F22 first because you can lose points if you fly off to search for calamity, since friendly planes can shoot down higher point planes

Thanks guys. I took a crash course in dogfighting and got 17,000. Calamity spawned so close to me with 1:30s on the clock. As I killed him, Tempest showed up at 9s left. He dodged my missile and arsenal bird showed up. I died, restarted from checkpoint (not thinking I would keep calamity) just to be good at completing the mission, and I unlocked it. I unlocked a couple of skins from checkpoint retries. I think they might have changed that in a patch. Will still try again for tempest soon.😁

No it is not. Su-57 with its impulses in most cases will be better (if hands are straight) F-22 with QAAM is trash And in reality, the F-22 has not controllable thrust vector. And its maneuverability is much worse than the Su-57, and Su-35, and Su-30SM

Went for calamity cause I got tempest already. After that checkpoint I died like 3 or 4 times attacking the Arsenal bird and it didn’t effect the earning of the skin

I keep getting 20000 points to kill tempest with like 1 minute left and the dude dodges all my missiles and I have a hard time getting on his tail and by the time I do the cut scene activates and I have to do that all over again. I also find that the 8AAMs I take with me almost always miss and I end up getting caught in 2 minute long dog fights with each plane. It is super annoying and frustrating.

After you get all the aces you get X-02s mister x skin Mihaly livery; two-tone grey body with orange wingtips but without markings.If you want Mister X skin With markings it comes with the dlc pack.

funny thing is in ace combat you can buy the x-02 skin and it is the same one you unlock it the the 7th skin for the x-02 if you have the skin😆😆😆😆

Needing some help here, how is Tempest the first up if you have to score more to get it? I did hear that right 20K to unlock him, & 17K for the SU-57 Skin?

Hello, I believe that Tempest (20K points) will spawn in the map regardless of your location on the map. However, I believe that Calamity will only spawn once you go actively looking for him. So I assume when you get within 10,000m of the map border (random number) he spawns in the game. That’s my theory on it

anybody with good aim and the X-02 use the EML (railgun) you can clean up enemies really fast i managed to get 20k points and kill tempest with 2:10:34 left.

I have tried this mission 6 times. I got the tempest on my s tank run and didn’t bother go south for calamity. When I came back for calamity on normal run, For some reason if I started heading south right after 17000 it didn’t work. Then I tried 17500 and 18000 nope, it didn’t work. Then I basically did what you did. Kill tempest and head south with 22000 score when 3:00 was left then I patrolled the south border for 30sec and no luck then at 2:15 I saw calamity a good healthy distance away from the south border flying down. So I guess if you are fast enough you have to wait.

I never had any of those problems whilst trying to get the two aces, Maybe Calamity only becomes available in the final minutes of the game, maybe the last 2 minutes or 2:30 minutes left. Thanks for sharing your experience, I know some people have had issues with my guides and the aces, so its good to know that this isn't another hate message.

Normal difficulty and above. You have to have completed the campaign once before, before trying for the skins, so having done a second playthrough :)

Oh my god this one was a nightmare. Again and again, I get the 20k, but I always get splashed by helios missiles that spawn instantly. No warning or countdown, just "BOOM". EDIT Now that I've said that, I can't even get 5k. Wtf?? Constant "miss miss miss, flares, flares, miss, flares, miss flares flares" etc etc. Jesus. EDIT2 After 15 full restarts, I finally got a run where I managed to get enough points. I got the F22...but the 2nd ace spawned with only 10 seconds left, and was stuck in mid air, off the map. Uuuuugh. EDIT3 YEEESSS! Finally got them!

Thanks for the question. You will receive the skin for tempest at the end of the mission. And the next time you complete the mission criterias, both planes will spawn back in (you can redestroy aces repetitively), so if you spawn them both back in, and you ignore tempest, it doesn't matter, but you still have the chance to hunt down calamity :). Unfortunately, no. The lowest difficulty the aces can spawn on is normal.

yes you can get calamity first if you wish. But once tempest spawns in, The friendly AI have a chance of destroying them before you can hence why I went for tempest first, then calamity second.

Wyns10 _ I am pretty sure I read somewhere that it needs to be normal difficulty. That article could be wrong but I did all mine normal/hard on replays
