Back when I played FIFA 14, I was managing Rochdale and I sent a not very experienced scout to Bolivia to search for a centre back(still don't know why I picked Bolivia though) and I drafted a 41 ovr centre back and an amazing thing is he sticked with the for 8 years and he went from 41 to 82 ovr. He was a good player

Yea that happens sometimes I signed two youth players to my academy both at the age of 15 and now their ratings are 82 and 84 at the age of 18, one is a goalkeeper and the other a CAM. The only problem is I can’t train their stamina

It's so simple and logical, yet my dumb ass never looked at the value of youth academy players, I was always focusing solely on their prediction of their current Avg and their potential, which is pretty much shooting with your eyes blindfolded 👀 Thank you so much 😊 😊😊

Once I scouted in Sweden and found an amazing wonderkid named Henrik Jonsson. He was a striker who could also play as a right winger. He ended up getting the Ballon Dor and became club captain.

Generally speaking you need to look at the age, rating and potential. I won’t sign anyone with less than 90 potential, but they’ve got to have a decent rating in relation to their age, for example: Aged 15: 52-56 Aged 16: 57-60 Also their values give a good guide as well. Over 500k is worth signing

Once I was Forest Green and got a player from Brazil from my scouts and he was called Edson Reis. He was a goalkeeper and he was 93 rated after a few years and sold him to Liverpool for £140 million

I have a lot of good player coming from czech republic, at least 6/8 very good player, most of them left in loan contracts (2 seasons). Now i have a czech Lukaku's version, seriously, very strong and fast. In my opinion the best positions to evolve on training sesions is GK and Central Defenders.

Germany gives good GK, ive been getting 85+ (after 1-2 yrs) in fifa 16,17,18 and now 20. Highly recommend to SPECIFICALLY look for goalkeepers in Germany

Another thing to consider is international callups. I admit I hate having an amazing team especially when I develop a youth player and then they can’t play important games due to international duty. I suggest only scout countries that don’t have national teams in fifa eg: Saudi Arabia. That way you can make them as good as you want and they will never leave on international duty.

To get high ratings, you should leave players in your youth squad past May 1, they will get a large overall boost, sometimes as large as 20 or more.

With dynamic potential, i find that i look more for the high overall youth players even if their potential is lower. looking for those 60 plus players off the bat, no good to me if hes 78-94 but 48 overall tbh

Highest ive promoted generally is 67/68, which works really well especially in r2g, in my sunderland career mode 2 seasons in and i already have a 3 players 80 overall all 66-68 when promoted. The 60 rated ones and those a bit below when promoted are between 67-73. I use training but share it around so the squad develops all round the pitch

Scouted a 15 yo Brazilian, 62 rated with 65-94 potential, trained him to 64 rated and the very next youth report his potential dropped to 65-78 :/ rating doesn’t rlly matter you need players w stable potentials
