I'm 62, with lilac purple pixie hair and the outfit I feel most myself in is a pair of baggy overalls. Not everyone was happy that I dyed my hair, but then I also have things happen like random strangers, young and old, telling me they love my hair. When I look in the mirror I see the authentic me, and frankly, that is all that matters.

This Queen Baddie from Sydney, Australia just turned 74! I have short bright pink hair and I love putting together fun outfits! I always get compliments on my thrifted /vintage finds. Fabulous and truly inspiring! I love how you prize fun above all and I so appreciate your encouragement to value and befriend other women at all stages of life. All my life I have loved playing with clothes- dressing as a poet, a pirate, an owl, a spy, whatever calls me - and have been alternately warned about fitting in and told I’m fantastic and unforgettable. Well I'm 80 and love my orange jumpsuit and flowered kimono jacket .jumpsuits all the way for me I've cut my unruly curly hair really short as well and wear contact lenses so I can see to put my makeup on you have inspired me to get out my scarves and accesorise!!! How did I miss this Diana? It just popped up in my feed even though I've been with you since the beginning! I'm an apprentice Queen Baddie. I'll be 55 this year and the more time passes the less I care about what people think about what I wear and look like! And I love it! Now, a (probably not) quick story about finding your tribe. I love Doc Martens boots, especially the high heel ones. I also love Irish Wolfhounds. Some 15 years ago, after my two wolfhounds had passed away within months of each other I decided I needed to get a wolfhound love bath. So I went to a specialty wolfhound outdoor show in France, 6 hour drive and all. Lucky for me the breeder of my first wolfhound's dad was there. I pulled out my camping chair next to her and basked in wolfhound kisses... Shortly thereafter, this lady came out of the show ring with her wolfhound and sat down on the other side of my breeder. I eyed her Doc Martens boots (flats in her case), she eyed mine.... She didn't know Doc Martens made heels but the overall style was unmistakable to her. From that day we became friends, then as time went on more like sisters from another mother. We aim to get to Queen Baddie status as we grow old. We live in different countries, a 4 hour drive away from each other (yes, I know you're barely out of California then!), but nothing will break us from being Queen Baddies, together and apart!

People tell me I dress uniquely all the time and they could never pull off what I look good in. I wear hats to church and they say, oh we need to have a hat Sunday. I tell them why do we need a certain day, if you want to wear it, wear it!!! I enjoy playing worth my clothes. It does cause an issue though; I have way toooooo much 🤷🏻‍♀️😉👩🏻‍🎤🕵🏻‍♀️💂🏻‍♀️🧑🏻‍🎤

Hiya, I only recently found your channel. You make a lot of sense. I was raised on a farm in the middle of no where and we were judged by what we can bring to the table. And I guess because of that I missed all the media hype and peer pressure. I wear what I want, when I want as long as its publicly decent, like not letting it all hang out plus I am German hence your French girl style is very similar to the German style. I still live in the country side and have farm type of dogs therefore my style has to be compatible with this. The amount of times my daughter makes statements like " mother what are you wearing"? Do I care? No

“… And you know who you are. I am you, you are me, we are THEM.” Yaaazzzzzz!!!!!! I’m in my early 50s, and I’m already converting my closet contents to the velvets, tulles, vibrant florals, and layers galore that I always “wished” I could wear!!! My wishing days are over, I’m letting my inner Whimsigothical Playful Princess have her way!!🌻🌸🦋🍁💝✨ (Added:) I’m looking forward, however, to when the fierce fearlessness kicks in in another decade or so! I love the term! I recently bought some bright pink 😢 purple, snake skin prin😢 Nike sneakers and I love them, they are totally crazy, but my husband said that he liked them with a dress i wore 😊. They make me smile so I am going to rock them 😂

I am 82 and have always felt good at any age. I am fashionable, creative and enjoy my life now. This is a little patronizing, one can be 70 + 80 * and don’t need to be told that they could be ok😢 they are.😊 they don’t have to look like old hags they are beautiful, period. Without the turban.

Here is my problem. I live in southern California and the coolest looks I'm in love with are layered and even layers of hand knits (thick warm cozy) and I can NEVER where these things. I'm trying to get the look by sewing my own things in cotton and linen, but it's hard to get textures. I can get prints, but textures are harder to find. But yah, I've been eyeing these pictures a LOT I love them since I've been in my 50s. I'm about to turn 61 now, LOL and that's EXACTLY how I want to present :D Too fun, but gotta be light and fluffy, I need more inspiration that isn't warm :/

Due to your videos (and Kathleen Illustrated who is another inspirational creative youtube lady) I'm currently wearing the denim overalls I've been too scared to wear, a purple t shirt and a cute scarf for doing some gardening in style! I'm sick of wearing only boring sensible clothes and want to be more fun and creative in how I put my outfits together. P.S that turban is so fun!

Love your videos but highly disagree on the definition of ”stylish” being ”well fitting clothes without stains, rips or tears, clean, presentable and in good shape”. That sounds more like what it used to mean when fash mags dictated it for us. I believe ”stylish” these days = you have a style of your own, whatever that means to you personally.
