Old school repair! Great vid Rocky, when it comes to doing repairs on jeeps, most of the parts are either hard to find or discontinued! However, I have seen in the car scene that 3rd party manufacturers are starting to bring solutions to these cars and newer models of parts that address the issues with a permanent solution! But yeah the old school fixes are great! 🤙🏽

Nice Rocky. I miss my wrangler. I sold mine because I got tired of replacing the windshield. Up here in Alaska they use a lot of gravel on the roads in winter time and those windshields sticking straight up are rock magnets

Thank you for your support .That part that broke off. You have to buy another gas tank to fix .Yes they are fun . I have a 1948 Jeep :-))

I just super glued the broken pieces together, no drilling or insert, then cover the break with quick JB weld. Worked fine and strong

Hi guys great help. A little better tubing is .17" SS tubing fits without drilling

You and I both remember when parts like that would have been made from brass rather than plastic and would still be working today.

Thank you . Yes I fix a lot of stuff . I have fixed Ford truck Radiators with the same problem :-))

@@riceman2112 I don't know if you have ever drop that tank . You will need to drop the cross member , Skid plate to get the Tank out . The front of the gas tank goes over the Cross member . Just a FYI . Yes on emptying your Tank out before drop :-))

@@rockysuperstar1 Thanks... ive done quite a bit of work on the JKR. new clutch, control arms and more. i saw the crossmember would need to be pulled. i was moving the evap cooler when i broke the nipple on the rollover valve, trying to move some tubes out of the way with a little too much force when it snapped. so seems i created another project for myself. looks like a fun one!
