Good video mark. I have a speedfight I want to hang on to, so I've gone to town on it. I've owned it since new. It's a 2006 plate with electric oil pump etc, and the small cheapest non immobiliser cdi. But it's been heavily modified electrically. It has a custom stator wound to produce full wave, a full wave rectifier, 2 battery's, all led lighting, including the dash, DC immobiliser bypass CDI, dual HID headlights. It's producing around 7.5amps of power on idle, which is enough to power the dual lights and all led lights without any fading or flickering. Everything works from the ignition, don't need engine running for lights. I've removed the oil system and bottle, and cat system. It's stripped to basics mechanically and electrically! I have one for sale in the north east if anyone reading this is interested!! Old T reg speedy, but fully rebuilt and rewired and fresh paint job.

Just a quick one, I have bought a 50cc Speedfight LC, the bike would set off really quickly until like 15 then it would just loose power and not want to accelrate so I changed the carb for a standard one same with the jets, checked the piston and rings and barrell, all good, I also changed the gaskets on the bike, same with the reeds put all new ones in, drained out the petrol and two stroke but all fresh stuff in and I also changed the vacuum and it's doing the same thing, clutch belt and rollers are all fine.

Hi mate the DT runs amazing first kick every time We've managed to get the front light working but when it's idling it's very dim and when you ride-rav it, it goes to normal and bright. The wires and quite tatty. But for a 1989 it's in very good shape. Still working on getting the back light to work the previous owner has fidled with the wires so stuff disconnected-broke. We have a multi meeter to test the electrics. I'll make a video on it and put it up on here for you to see :)

Hi Mark, I hope You can help. I went to look at a moped (Peugeot Kisbee 4T 50cc) for my daughter the other day and although it started okay it wouldn't idle. He started It back up but then died a couple more times as soon as he let go of the throttle and then would not start for 30 secs or so before it fired into life. He then kept the throttle partially open for a few seconds before he took it up the road and back again to try and warm it up, but the engine still died when he pulled up beside me. He did say it has been garaged for nearly a year. I didn't buy it, obviously, but I am still tempted as I don't think it's that serious. What are your thoughts, Please? Thanks

hey mark, really helpfull tips here, im actually going to check the stator coil on one of my scooters tomorrow because its doing exactly what you say! (terrible start when cold or not used a few days). but i have a question, you mentioned use proper oil, now i know Castrol a747 is the best out there, and it smells the best when burning, but its the most expensive, i was wondering what oil do you use? my preference goes out to Castrol Power RS 2T. its cheaper than the A747, but its still a really good oil. have you tried out my wet weather fix? the little wire going from the steering frame to the main frame? as always, nice video!

hi mark i have a speedfight i was connecting up the wires on it so i wouldnt have too use a key (using for stunts) and i got it going but i hit a wire off another and it sparked and cut out ever since it hasnt sparked i checked the usual fuse spark plug but i put a fluke tester on the coil and im getting resitance was looking up on google they said its the cdi im still not sure if its that just looking for your opinion thanks Nathan

I really need your help, I have a speedfight 50cc and it starts fine, ticks over for a couple mins then cuts out like it's getting no petrol, I have changed the spark plug, I have check the carb, as soon as it cuts out I have opened the float bowl and it's full of petrol, iv cleaned the jets, checked the reed petals and their fine, I don't know what to do

Hey mark when those pumps leak how do you fix them ? Mine is leaking and a new one is expensive is there one compatible or something to fix it ? I only find the ones cable operated and mini is like that

Hi mark I have looked through your vids and can’t seem to find any related to my issue . My 2016 Yamaha Aerox (stock) when left a few days or is cold, it struggles to start up . It starts up and keeps bogging out straight away but after about 10 times of trying to start it ,it is fine. And once it’s running fine it starts first time easy any tips?

Hello mark i got a problem with my bike it start up with key but when i go to turn key to turn it off the engine stay running i look at all electric put new fuse in new key ignition just cant wrap my head round hope you can help thanks

Hiya mark cleaned carb put oil pipe back to the pump fresh petrol and it started stright up but droped the bike and snaped the bracket for the exhourst lol need new casing now haha the joys

Hi mate good news we've got the lights working the bike is a 6 volt wiring system and the guy had put 12 v bulbs in each light except the front one dash lights work good indicators light up but don't flash so the flasher unit has gone so we've ordered a new one, the horn works but sounds like a dying cat 👎😂. The back light is ok when you press the break it just goes dim and I know the other bulb is ment to light up inside it was for a moment but then it stopped something inside is drawing quite abit of current just need to find out where it is. So not long to going on the road I have a worry about 1 thing and that's the front folks they can go quite low when pressing the front break also say when you sit on the bike it will go down a little. I checked it's history and it's said on the last mot it had a slight damping effect?. Also it's missing a chain guard and in the last mot it says in advisorys it is. I went to a mot center where I live and they were strict on saying it has to have it? Thanks mate

Hi Mark I really need your help , my petrol is leaking from my carb at first thought it was the float but seems to be fine , cannot see what else it can be , I think someone has tampered with it , there is a plastic fuel filter between the fuel leading from the fuel line in could this fail ? it doesnt seem to be cracked or leaking and neither are the tubes I'm really stumped and angry to think someone has messed with my bike any help be very appreciated please , thanks , the bike is a peugeot trekker ,it does happen slowly so I'm still sure it is the float but I've checked this , maybe I should just buy a new carb
