That side flap is called a grass deflector I know because I’ve been fixing small engines for 33 years

Yea thats what I was about to do but I didn’t really feel like messing with all that and I didn’t really have another base at that time. So I just decided to fix it and sell it. I did get 175 out of it once I sold it though! 😃
