Do you want to know how to fix Xbox One Audio Issues with 3 Common Fixes??? Are you getting no sound through your speakers or headset, having buzzing noise through your microphone or your microphone just doesn't work? To fix many common issues with your mic that you plug into your controller using the 3.5 mm headphone jack. Update your controller! Also, make sure your audio settings have HDMI audio output turned on! If your sound on your xbox one is not working make sure all your cables are plugged in properly, your microphone isn't muted, your volume is turned up!

This solved my problem. Was playing a game the other day and my sound just completely stopped through my headset and I’ve went and bought new controller, new headset everything and nothing worked. And 2 mins in this video and one simple controller update fixed it all. Thanks!

@@j3den614 yeah its weird for me. I have a wired fusion controller. It’s the one with paddles and stuff but it wasn’t giving me an option to update my controller. I was just playing with my friends and my controller randomly disconnected and when I turned it back on I had no audio or anything. I’ve unplugged and reset everything and still nothing. Everything on my headset still works too I just can’t hear anything.

Sorry but.. I am pretty sure its either your controller because some peoples controller is messed up. What I mean by messed up is the plug in for your headset might be messed up and needs to be cleaned. I hope it helped and btw I recommend getting a new controller or a new headset!

If your headset was working, you could hear and others could hear you, either the headset broke or your controller might not work. If the audio was messed up from the beginning it’s the controller

I have the solution: first you need to go to TV and display: Next click “video Fidelity and overscan” then you need to press “overrides and make sure it’s on hdmi then go back to resolution and make sure it’s on 1080 :) worked for me

Did you try doing stretch res on Xbox? If that was the case try this, I have the solution: first you need to go to TV and display: Next click “video Fidelity and overscan” then you need to press “overrides and make sure it’s on hdmi then go back to resolution and make sure it’s on 1080 :) worked for me

So I have an Astrix L series headset and my controller isn’t a wireless one so it’s already connected via usb cable, I can hear friends but they can’t hear me.. when I tried to see if I can update the controller it doesn’t give the option so idk what else could be wrong

Thank you so much I bought a new headset recently and it was working just fine. All of a sudden it stopped, I had thought it was a problem with the controller or my headset, I tested it on my pc and it was working fine. I used my old headset and it was working as well.I just updated my controller and now my headset works again!

I know this is like 2 years. Mine headset didn't work, no sound or anything. I updated finaly works. Thank you so much for helping. I'm glad I clicked on this
