Impressive! It appears you've done this once before, Anthony. This could be a great side hustle for you. I can think of one customer who needs some glue-pulling on a dent related to a roof rack install on their 4Runner. :)

Yes, I have done bodywork for years and ran my own business back East. I don't intend to go all in again but may "dabble" here and there Unfortunately I don't have a dedicated shop to work in.

Nice work with those dents. Any suggestions dealing with inverse dents? The fan blade on my 92 4runner exploded 10 years ago, forming pimples on the hood. At one point I tried hammering them a bit, first with a wood chunk and then directly. But the hood is thicker metal, and I didn't have much success. I've considered just buying a replacement hood from pick-n-pull, and might still do that. But fixing this up is on the list, after the recently painted/cleared roof spots, and upcoming timing belt, windshield, and dash top. With a list like that it sounds terrible, but even in this shape I get strangers on the trail and at the ski resort saying how nice it looks.

I also had the same damage on the hood. Hood pimples. I use a dolly under the hood and a body hammer on top and start to work them down. I then used a grinder to take some excess metal down and generate heat and immediately followed it with a cool wet rag to shrink the metal.

i wish i could continue doing this in my own garage! unfortunately, my neighbor who is a KAREN called the city on me claiming im spray painting cars in my garage!!

Are you referring to surface rust or rust holes through the metal?
