Thanks, Mark. The FUSE BOX for the radio clock and CIG lighter is exactly where you said it was, under the steering and set forward a little - best if you push the driver seat and backrest far back first, then enter the car lying on your back looking upwards. The fuse is the fourth from the left = a blue 15A fuse.

Being in Australia, my car is LHD. The fuse box is under the steering wheel, & yes, you have to hunker down to get to it. Yes, again, the manual is no help. In my fuse box, ACC controls radio,cig lighter & clock.Thank you for your help, much appreciated.

Hey, I watched another video where the guy had to remove his battery in order to access those engine bay fuses? Does this need to be done? Because you literally just pulled it off like it wasn’t secured? Also, my lights on my dash have gone quite dim, even more so on my temp controls, battery is only 3 months old? Lastly, my cig lighter still works but my radio and clock don’t so do you think this is still a fuse problem?

You definitely don’t have to remove the battery. Not sure what fuses the other vid person was trying to access. Your lights may be dim because interior lights are dimmable and perhaps you dimmed them by accident. The dimmer is typically located to the lift of your stirring wheel on the dash somewhere. Check you owners manual. Hopefully it’s this simple. Once you’ve accessed the fuses you’ll just have to check which are broken. If the battery is new and you’re still have inconsistent power issues, it could possibly be the alternator, or a loose connection somewhere. Sorry I can’t be of more help there

Thank you much. I have a toyota matrix 05 and the radio went out years back. I ride motorcycles as well so not having a radio didn't really bother me much by recently someone side swiped me taking off a side mirror and the power mirror adjustments are on the same fuse. I'm 6' 285 pounds so getting my body under there SUCKED but everything is fixed now and I have a radio again.

Hey Alexis, If yours has a cover look at the bottom of the cover and there should be a drawing of the exact same little fuse box and the drawing lists what each fuse functions. If you don’t see it on the cover it should be somewhere close to the fuses.

Thanks for the help bro, the odometer light or gear light doesn't turn on. Nor does the light on the top work. Is this a busted fuse? If so which one? The hood or under the steering? Hope to hear from you.

I’m going to ask the obvious, did you check to insure the dimmer switch is up? Otherwise it may be a fuse. Check your manual. There should be a diagram of the fuses and what’s for what. If that’s not the issue you may need to change the light behind. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z653e5eA1q6YnZs.html

@@modenim Yup it was the dimmer switch🤣 and I replaced the fuse for the cigarette lighter and it works now. Only thing I can't figure out Is the dome light on the top of the car. It doesn't turn on when I open the door.

Depending on your make and model, there may be a switch on the light itself or located somewhere above the rear view mirror typically. Depending on the position of this switch it determines whether the dome light reacts to the door being open. Try to locate a switch and try to see if there’s a different when the switch is all the way in the right position, left position, or centre position. If that’s not the case it may be the bulb. Hope this helps

Or the dome light is operated by the same dimmer for the dash lights. Just make sure its in the ON position

Thanks, it was a great help. Cigarette lighter, stereo, and power mirrors suddenly stopped working in my corolla 2003. I was wondering if all three are connected under single fuse or else. I found the answer in your video. Tomorrow I'm gonna replace the fuse. As it's a right hand driving car, I gotta remove glove box to get access to the fuse box.

Hey man I have a 2003 Toyota corolla and where the 15 fuse should be theirs a 20 and above that its 15 and above that its 30 and some other fuse locations also do not match the diagram. any idea what I should do?

Assuming you have the correct harness for the stereo to work in your car, did you check the balance via the stereo’s equalizer settings?. Maybe the back speakers volumes is at zero? I honest can’t say what the problem might be otherwise. Sorry

Sounds like a wiring issue or the speaker is just dead. I’m no expert but the speakers should all derive from the same power source.

What if only my back speakers are working? Would a bad fuse blow out all sound or could it be possible that a bad fuse is only affecting my front speaker?

I believe there isn’t a speaker fuse. You’ll have to google search probable causes. Could be a loose connection, blown speaker, stereo settings, etc.

The fuse maybe be located in the same fuse box as the radio fuse. On the lid of the fuse box cover there should be a diagram of which fuse does what. Also, make sure you don’t have the lights turned off. To the left of your stirring wheel there should be a round dial that you can roll up or down. Make sure it’s up all the way. It acts as a dimmer to your dash lights. Assuming your car is like mine.

If your radio and cd are an all in one unit, then it’s likely the CD player is done for.

I put was putting my CD in the Toyota Corolla 2005 radio and a few seconds it goes out automatically, I turned CD upside down, put it in and of course I got an error. next time I put CD correctly, it worked!

Oddly I had that issue as well. My clock would come and go. I didn’t pursue it though because my stereo had a clock.
