i’d love to see beat druid come come back. copying matriarchs and knights is fun. twist buffs were obviously a precursor to a beast parachute brigand that will go to druid and definitely not hunter bc it’s druid

Having Invigorate deal 2 damage sounds like an improvement if you ask me. Kill an early minion AND ramp? That's the nuts! And if it doesn't work in slower matchups, you don't need to gain mana as quickly anyways since the game is already going to take a while, and it adds a way to still have multiple uses at ten mana being a shock spell that could still draw. Crazy stuff I think

other combo decks being faster than you is a bad thing, as well as invig requiring a minion to kill isn't exactly that easy a lot of the time, especially on 2.

Ok about the Invigorate, it's not an upgrade to Wild Growth. It's the exact same card. Because if you cast Wild Growth while at full mana crystals, you get the hidden Excess Mana which is a 0 cost spell that draws you a card. Though I am a little curious as to why you decided to buff it by making it Wild Growth with 2 damage to a minion tacked onto it, the 2 damage clause actually does make it strictly better than Wild Growth

Thank you for giving Wild Druid some coverage. First off, I am an aggro/tempo player so I'm gonna have some bias. There are nastier singular decks in Wild, but Druid overall just feels so bad to play against. Turn (or should I say Mana) 6-7 is the start of what I call 'Druid stuff' and it basically means they can do anything imaginable. I don't know if you've partaken in rage like Artosis vs. Protoss, but it's basically that. I just keep saying 'Druid stuff' to myself and their turn doesn't end and I win sometimes and it doesn't even feel good. That's part of the hell of it too, a lot of the time the wins are empty, they blew their draw and look like a bot doing nothing until their health reaches 0. If I had to ask for one nerf not here it might be Spreading Plague. It's always been very good and highly played and it's only gotten better as a catalyst to further Druid Stuff. 1 mana up sounds fine to me. And maybe unbust Floop's Gloop a bit, but that might be asking too much.

If they gave Gibberling the beast tag, that has a pretty close to good shell already. The Oracle of Elune + 0-mana sticks is pretty terrifying, but currently aggro beast druid has no good turn 1 plays. Then again, that might be a little too good, and spell aggro Druid seems close to being good on its own too.

Yeah but it's not a beast, and they're pretty strict on tags even going so far that they've changed art of cards in the past to reflect that

2 mana Gonk would be awesome. But then it makes the OTK combo way easier to pull off (you summon a bunch of Gonks and their effects stack).

That combo would still suck, hitting a bunch of minions and having gonks is still really hard

The problem I have with druid is it's so hard to buff without it just absolutely taking over the meta.

Personally spirit of the raptor should have stealth for one turn since it cannot normally attack it would never go away unless your running AOE and that could be problematic

Gonk being 2 mana is a little flavor fail, it's supposed to be a big dinosaur, maybe not in cost but in statline, it being a 2/2 feels strange, maybe they should print an epic with the 2 mana 2/2 statline to replace gonk in that aspect

Gonk is a raptor, which are not "big dinosaurs" as well as that means quite literally nothing because even in ungoro you saw a 4/5 mana sauropods in druid, which are the largest kind of dinosaur

@@FlareIsGone Given that perspective I agree, it would be fine for it to be somewhat smaller, I think there's a 3 mana 3/2 raptor in druid so it's not that far off, Just never took gonk for a raptor, he *looks* in the art more like a carnossaurus. (nevermind me missing the literal "the raptor" in Gonk's name, if anything the flavor fail is from blizzards part from making it such a big minion considering it was supposed to be a raptor to begin with)

I don't like polarizing decks and I think druid is too weak into aggro but too strong into everything else that was the idea behind the invig change

Make Rake 1 mana again and Druid comes back. Oh, and nerf Floop's Glorious Gloop to refresh Mana Crystals like it should've been long time ago.
