My LAN cable works fine bc I connect it to my Apple TV and the little green light on the router lights up. The only time it doesn’t light up is when I connect it to the ps5. I believe it is either a port issue or a software issue. I’ve messed with all the router settings and have hard reset the modem the router and the PS5. I have rebuilt database. I have tried multiple different cables. I’ve heard people saying the LAN cable might be not sliding in properly even after it clips for whatever reason. I’ve pushed it all the way in and it still doesn’t work.

PS5 Doesnt support IPV6 make sure your router or modem is running IPV4. Might be the case. There are many things it could be even things I didn't cover in this video. Good luck.

Hello, me and my brother both have PS5’s. I noticed mine was not connected to the lan cable. My cable works on his PlayStation. Drawing from the same router. So the issue has to be with the PlayStation. What are my options?

@slimreaper69 This is a little unclear is your playstation connected via LAN or not? If so are you using the same cable as your brothers at a differant time to when his is connected? Or are you both playing at same time? Also do you have some kind of splitter or switch in-between the router and playstation for both ps5s or are you just both using a differant ethernet port from the main router? Try just using the router for both ps5s and change the port your ps5 is using pin the switch or router. If this dosnt work then reset your router. Try using WIFI instead if needed. Also try reset your ps5 network settings. Simply turning everything on and off may work too. Sometimes routers IPs need reconfiguring because they can or are in conflict with another device. Also check if you can even run two playstations from same network or router. You may need a second router the router may not be able to handle two playstations.

I cannot help you with that. You cannot edit music out of a youtube video unless you edit the original file and re upload it which I will not be doing. I do not find the music overpowering. I can understand what is being said in the video fine. Try changing your audio settings or equaliser. Turn your pitch up and base down or something.

@@BATTLEDUTY-XHey, I've got a TL-WR841HP router set up for my wireless connection, and it's connected to my PS5. The problem is, my PS5 doesn't have any internet connection, and I can't play my online games. Any ideas on what I should do to fix this? Thanks!

@SLIVER-MACE "Forget" all other wireless networks you have connected to in past. This will remove them from your system. PS5 only allowed 10 wireless configurations. Also remove and forget your current wireless network and reconnect. Reset your router/modems. Try a LAN cable it's much better. Wireless connections can have frequency interruptions or can be prone to dos attacks kicking you from network. Use LAN cable!! It's more secure and more reliable. If not make sure device is close enough to router if not get a wifi booster or access point it goes between your router and device. It could be so many things man. All the above in the video still apply just its a wireless network.

@SLIVER-MACE Just do factory reset! For both your router/modem and your playstation 5 and buy a new LAN cable. If that dosnt fix it contact your ISP if ISP says nothing is wrong then take your sony back.

I factory reset mine but now my controller won’t connect to my PlayStation the light turns orange like it’s charging but it won’t connect

Need a proper cable that supports the Ps5 properly. 3rd party controllers tend to be too flimsy for PS5 standards. Usually if the usb-c interior is orange that’s a good sign
