If you have a loose water bottle cage that just can't seem to tighten, it's probably the rivnut / boss that's come loose. It's a quick fix, and it will stop the rattling noise from driving you crazy when you're riding.

That’s a Tacx Ciro bottle cage? Any instance of water bottle coming out of it accidentally or on bumpy terrain?

What do you think of those bottle cages?? Are they of good quality and do they keep your bottles in? Thank you!
@ChinaCycling5 жыл бұрын
I love these cages. I've used lots and lots of cages, but these are the best for holding the bottles In and being able to put the bottles back in without even looking / thinking about it, etc.

Always put tape on the tool or the bike to protect the paint from scratching. Not sure exactly what you are saying- is there another part inside you are pulling up? Usually it gets lose because the threads where out over time. In that case you can size up, re-tap and use a larger bolt. I have to say, it is funny to see people worried about a random ounce or two. Must be a nice problem to have. I know, you are really into biking and every ounce counts. I get it.
