Hi asus, my monitor recently started displaying the colours much brighter and with more contrast than my previous setting for no apparent reason. I tried checking OSD but it won't let me access brightness and contrast settings for no reason. Also, I accidentally hit almost all keys on my keyboard which caused this issue. What should I do?

Hi, according to your question, may I ask have you try to restart your PC? Have you make sure that graphics driver is at the latest version? May I ask did the problem occur since first day you got the monitor? If you're unable to access the monitor's OSD settings, you can try adjusting the display settings through your computer's operating system. Hi, according to your question, may I ask what cable you use to connect the monitor? Have you try to cross test with other cable? Have you make sure that all the driver is at the latest version? so is there a way i can reach out to you all? i recently did an update for windows 11 and now i cant change any of my settings for my monitor with the joystick buttons or settings on windows/monitor. at most it lets me change HDR on/off thats about it. not contrast not brightness or my bluelight filter which is really messing my eyes up. thx

Hi, based on your issue, please make sure you have the latest graphics drivers installed for your graphics card. If the issue persists, try resetting your monitor settings to the factory defaults. Most monitors have a dedicated option in their settings menu to reset all settings. Refer to your monitor's user manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset. Have you try to disable HDR and confirm whether the problem still remains? If the problem started immediately after the Windows 11 update, you can try performing a system restore to revert your system back to a previous state. Also, could you provide the product model and OS version? Thank you.

Hello ASUS, 1) My Laptop Model is X540UAR, On Buying this laptop it came with Splendid app pre-installed ok its fine but recently I have an issue so I make a clean OS install after I'll visit ASUS website to install drivers... on that case there is no driver or utility regarding Splendid App. I don't know why?. So I visit service center and they reinstall the OS after that Splendid App is Came. My Question is why the ASUS is not given that option to install it through official website? Any money making strategies? 2) In My Laptop there is a app called ASUS Live Update. It's not working since I purchased this laptop... so I how can update the drivers to latest one ? Is a live update is dummy app?

Note that newer laptops may not have ASUS Live Update because the app has been integrated into MyASUS. @@asus_support Hello Asus, thanks for responding. The problem has resolved. I left the monitor alone for about 5 hours and when I came home to test it it worked again. I have not updated the monitor since owning it. I was concerned it was an issue with power extension cable so I replaced that just to be on the safe side. It’s working great, do you recommend I update the monitor anyway? Many thanks

Boas asus. Eu tenho grande desfocamento vertical no centro do ecra. A noite é mais vizivel. Quando olho para baixo e para cima com o rato,toda a imagem central desfoca,fazendo tipo no flightsimulator as luzes das cidades ganharem e perderem intensidade,se olhar up and down tudo pisca. Ja vi tidas as configurações do jogo do pc, da gpu tudo tudo, e em varios jogos acontece o mesmo, Resulocao nativa,ja vi com hdmi,dp, mas aquele desfocamento faz en todos os jogos, em alguns ao mover o rato para cima e para baixo ate as ervas earvores as sombras piscam. Ja vi o burr motion, ja vi as cores,filtos,modo de ecrã, tudo tudo,configurações do monitor,do pc,dos jogos,ja vi os cabos,actualizaçãoes e nada resolve. Estou a ficar descomfiado k seija problema da tela. Se nao comseguir resolver isto,vou ter k o devolver,so o tenho a 1 mês. Obrigado pela atenção

After a Win11 update my PG384Q keeps showing red/green/blue/white/black fullscreen colours when there is no input signal (PC sleeping) and I can no longer overclock to 100Hz, any attempts to do so results in the OSD settings reverting to default and a Light in Motion popup displaying in the OSD. I have tried reseating power & DisplayPort cables, removing and reinstalling drivers. Any ideas?

I suggest connecting the monitor to another computer for testing. If it works fine on another computer, it indicates that your original computer may have encountered an error during the update process, leading to abnormal functionality.

When there are no monitors or cables connected (only power) the monitor cycles through those colours, so I doubt it is a PC problem.@@asus_support

Hey Asus I have Asus VG249 monitor and I have black lines on my screen but I have them only when I am on 144 hz but I don't ahve them when I put 59hz please respond and thank you so much!

@@asus_support thank you for responding that quickly I don't know why were my notifications off but yes I actually went to the service and they told me the pc and monitor itself is good but I changed the cable for the monitor hdmi cable and i can still get only 100 out of 144 hz idk what's the issue. I went fullscreen on some games and like about 80% of my screen is full black and I cannot do anything but turn off the game and stop playing and I saw a lot of people with this monitor have this issue and my guarantee is off bcs this pc is 3 yo so yeah please help me thank you

Hi asus my ASUS VP-8HE monitor doesn't turn on. I plugged in the power cord as well as the HDMI cable into my PS4 but when i press the on button, the screen just stays black.

Hello Asus, I have a problem with my asus app. I downloaded all updates and there was one that said keyboard update , i pressed on it and it said , this update is not necessary, so I pressed on the X button to close it and now everytime, I open my asus it says the update is running in the backround , it uses a lot of memory , how can I fix it ?

I have my gaming monitor connected to my xbox x. I usually disconnect it but this last time it only shows black screen with white flashing monitor light. I dont have a clue on what to do. Everything im finding compares the gaming monitor to pc when i cant get on desktop to access that process, im at a lost eith just a black screen.

Hi asus, i have VG249Q 23.8 monitor and it was working for a year great with 144 hz but one day it started flickering and showing black screen , i tried to go under 144hz like 120hz and it was working just fine without black screen, but after a month or two even 120hz is crashing so i had to put it in 60hz, i use display port and i tried hdmi too but same problem, i got my rtx2070 super drivers up to date. is there anything i can do?

@@asus_support I have the SAME problem as this man. Same GPU, same monitor. I saw the link you gave, but it's a loop to this same video. Can you fix the problem? I can't use the 144hz, and same as @drinfazliu7997 neither 120hz after 1 month. It's a pattern this. Also, this VG249 do not have a RESET OPTION.

I bought my ASUS TUF VG289Q1A 28" 4K IPS monitor just two months ago. I use it on PC and PS5, but when I want to install Windows, the monitor does not work in BIOS mode.

@@asus_support 1. I use ultra settings in games fps rate is normal but graphics very blurry I close blurry settings and increase sharpness but don't improve sharpness and still blurry 2. And 3. Question I use 1920x1080 resolution . 4. And 5. Question almost all games forza horizon 5 , red dead redemption 2 , cyberpunk 2077 , death stranding , Jedi fallen order ( a little ) , kingdom come deliverance (there is too much sharpness as an exception to this) I see mostly caused by grass 6. Asus Rog strix g15 G513IC-HN095 rtx 3050 laptop 16 gb ram AMD ryzen7 4800h . I use Windows 11 latest version. Please help me I can't play games because of this problem . I am sorry for wrong sentences my English is bad I am living in Turkey and bought laptop in Amazon Turkey

I've had my asus monitor for 5 years. It was working fine today then all of a sudden when i clicked out of a web browser. The screen had some of the website parts still on the screen and flickering. I did everything (reset, unplug, turn on my ps4). Nothing.

I bought 2 monitors from Asus, 1 way back 2015 and another this 2022 2015 - still works perfectly 2022 TUF - now has intermittent No power issue that requires me to unplug it ASUS is bad quality now , their TUF is not so tough after all.

@@asus_support Yes by occasionally unplugging it, pressing the power button for 30 seconds to discharge. It's too much hassle for me to return it, unless it's replaced by brand new one.

Bought the VG27AQZ, worked fine for 4 months then started randomly losing picture and only dispolaying its backlighting, meaning even the screens own menu doesnt work. This happens on startup, when switching aspect ratios, when playing games, when idle and doing nothing, and when the computer goes into sleep mode. When this occurs it's sopmetimes impossible to make the screen go back to it's previous state and i'm left with a none working screen for sometimes DAYS, before it decides to work again. Have tried the following: Restarting the PC, restarting the monitor, unplugging monitor power and holding the power button for a few minutes, rebooting the motherboard, updating GPU Displayport drivers (3080), switching between 3 different grades of Displayport cables, using HDMI instead, turning off GSYNC, Turning off windows 10's "sleepmode" feature, and finally upgrading the PSU to a 850 GOLD incase a lack of power to the GPU caused this. None of this has fixed it. I then took it to the local retailer that sold me the screen, they went over it and could not fix it. I talked with ASUS support twice, and they found no working solution. Please for the love of god, help me fix this quite honestly useless paperweight 400$ screen i got scammed into buying. If i cannot fix this screen i will make it my lives work to make sure none of my friends and acquaintances ever buy an ASUS screen.

Hi, may I ask have you check the cable connection? Please ensure that the cable connecting your monitor to your computer or other devices is securely plugged in at both ends. Black screen on 3-year old rog-strix-XG32VQR. My PC detects it. My 15 year-old monitor works just fine, this expensive 3 year-old monitor is dead. I am never buying any ASUS products ever again.

@@asus_support i did and you did send me anotherone which by arrival didnt work neither. I have to send this one back now as well and dont even get anything for my work i have to put into this bs. This was my last buy with asus and after reading more reviews all i really regret is not reading them before.

Hey ASUS, my monitor (VG27a) goes black every time i load up a game on my xbox. I have to turn my monitor off and on for it to work, but if i dashboard then it will go black again. Any fix? I tried everything…. And when i turn off my console, sometimes the game works but everytime i dashboard and go back to the game, there will be a blackscreen for 3-5 seconds
