For today's project, we follow up on Part 1 of diagnosing the hand warmer. We confirm the failure and I show you how to remove the hand grip and replace the heating element.

Thanks, Heading out soon to troubleshoot. It is Sunday so hopefully my grid is good and I just find a loose ground or dirty switch.

What replacement heating element did you use? I'm trying to fix my 2012 Polaris Pro-R

Polaris OEM.

Compressed air maked the grips slide off without any effort, chemicals, heat, etc.

Absolutely true. However on this sled, the end of the grips were cut off to allow the installation of bar hooks. Thanks for watching and please subscribe!

I was hoping for finding & soldering/fixing the open breaks on the grid circuit to be the subject of this video (it wasn't). Polaris wants $57 EACH per heater grid and I need BOTH as (low) is out on one side and (high) is out on the other.

Yah, there's no way you would be able to repair them since the circuits are on a plastic film. What model sled?

Why don't you show the actual installation of the grid and the grip? The removal of the parts also? I hate videos that just say , install it, and don't show complications that may occur. Outside of that I appreciate the video and learned a lot.

Thanks for watching. At the time of the video I didn’t own a tripod. So filming the process would have been a challenge
