Can you use the first screen and second screen as one screen and like put everything in 1 screen

Yes, Asus screenpad+ software allows us to do this. However, not all apps work well in this mode. The app needs to scale and work well across display 1 and 2.

Please I have a friend selling his and his screenxert is not working he said something about asus installing the wrong version ? Do I need feature to utilize both screens ?

You should ask your friend if the second screen is working on that zenbook you are about to buy. As far as I know, windows detects and configure that zenbook second screen just like any other external monitor, so you dont need screenXpert app to run that screen. Without screenXpert app you just can't do those app features like flick windows across screen. Oh and a big thing is you also cannot conviniently adjust the second screen brightness without that app.

Amazing video...I am using zenbook duo. I am on the latest windows 11 and everything is updated. I have lost the option to turn on screen pad plus. Can you help plz.

Hi Rahul, sorry for the late reply, been too busy with so many videos to make. You can try this. press the "Win" key to bring up Windows app search. Search for the app "ScreenXpert" and run that app. That should run your screen pad app again. Is this what you are asking?

Hi rahul. When I first picked up my ux8402 my screen pad wouldn't turn on till I installed a few things then as I updated to Windows 11 it wouldn't work either. I tried to just run the app like this and it wouldn't work . I had to go back to Windows 10

I never knew about tiling in Windows 10 & 11. I have just used it now but this begs the question why do we need a dual screen when we have Windows tiling ?

If you are asking about Asus ScreenXpert Control Center, then you can go into the Control center settings and look for a "Control Center Position" or "Change location by dragging" those will enable you to move the Asus control center around. Hope this helps

ScreenXpert comes with the laptop so it's free. It's not required to use both screen as Windows regard the second screen on this Asus Zenbook Duo as a second screen. However, we won't be able to use the ScreenXpert features if you don't have the app.

How do I disable the touchpad mode on the second screen. It Is not showing the X.

Hi Greisy, not sure if this will work, but you can try disabling the "Automatically exit touchpad mode" in Window Control in the ScreenXpert application settings. Hopefully this will make the X to appear.

Make sure your Asus ScreenXpert app is running and the "App switcher" option under the "Windows Control" settings is enabled.

@@lanedunavin68 The other thing I can think of is go to your Windows Application settings and locate the advance options of the ScreenXpert app. In the advance option, there is a "Let this app run in background" setting. Make sure it's not set to "Never". I have mine set to "Power optimized", you can also try setting it to "Always". This should allow it to run at the background, and avoid Windows preventing it running in background. My version of ScreenXpert is 3.0.4.0 for your comparison.

You can turn off App switcher function in Settings, no need to try avoid it.

Hi Pk. not that I know of. However, I am sure it can be done if we try hard enough. Windows Operating system basically treats ScreenPad+ like a second monitor, so any method or app that can configure different wall paper for different multiple screens on MS Windows should work.
