How to: Full passive keyless entry install (project st220). Well here it is in as much detail as possible. This system is fully keyless and with the added bonus of a engine remote start as well
The full Keyless entry and start/stop button install from start to stop
This kit has taken some time to install and i have done it over a couple days. By firstly checking for all the wires you need to splice into and where each wire is located.

Well this kit was a fun install, lets see if it can get 1000 likes, lol. So what i plan to do with the horn (blue) wire is add a switch so when the car is in the garage and im working on it i can turn that function off. Give this comment a like if you want to see that 😀 plus i now need to work out how to get the mirrors and double lock to work this aswell..

Chazz Coombes that was going to be my question do the mirrors still fold ? could you not swap them to fold on normal locking ? Great video and absolutely fool proof tutorial keep up the great videos yor the first place I look when doing any work on my st great work keep it up

Hi bud, Any idea if you could use this kit without the push-start button? I'm looking for something that will lock and unlock my doors when I get close to the van, Normally have my hands full and just opening the door is a pain and I hate leaving it unlocked when I'm delivering. Great vid btw really helped me find (possibly) what I could be after. :)

I loved it more year by year. In China not everyone like to keep a car for more than 10 years. And I am very difficult to buy spare parts since nobody selling. Top job Chazz, the horn going off can be annoying nonetheless what a rude neighbor 😊😋, I would definitely just disable the horn if possible and keep that function ... Really enjoyed the install 👍👍👍

hiya mate, yeah what i have done is put a switch on the horn wire so when im working on the car or in the garage i can do with out the horn going off. You can disable that function on the fob and mute it but it only stays like that till you look the car. I have done a full review video now on it aswell.

Just fitted the keyless system the remote start isn't working but all other features are thanks to your video was fairly easy fit . Just got to wait for your next video to work the folding mirrors out lol Cheers for the help great video

This is perfect if you say don't wanna use the key ignition switch and wanna use the button instead or if it's busted then this would be perfect to install. and rather perfect for installing into a 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 for example.

I'm installing a similar kit, not the same one, and I've run into an issue, I have one wire that's supposed to go go ignition 2, and my car doesn't have a second wire for the ignition, I also wired the break line to the breaks and they still have their safety features so I can't press to enable them

How safe and secure are these? Do you require leaving your original keys immobiliser chip inside? Also, because they are cheap, feel like one day you'll wake up to find out your car turned on by itself over night

Great video, I have a 1992 c1500 with the same alarm setup. Everything works except my remote start. Do a certain wire on the box has o be connected to the dash harness wires. Im lost at that point. Please help if you can .

Hi chazz. In a previous video where you showed us how to install a bypass module you had the key immobiliser taped to the original receiver . If I was to go down this route rather than install a bypass module would this keyless start/entry system work with the new keys provided? e.g if the new key wasn't in the car the car wouldn't start?

Hello I just install a startvstop kit, but it doesn't power on. I have 6 wires on the kit red1-12v constant, red2-12v constant, white- ACC, Green- ING 2, Yellown- ING 1. But I have no Ground wire.

Hi, I hope you see this. I installed this kit and the next day my battery died. Have you had this issue? I'm replacing the battery today and just hope that I had a faulty battery and not that the kit is draining the battery

I'm really confused. In the kit you linked and in the manual, it shows nothing on indicator wires or connecting to them. Maybe my kit is different but when I lock/unlock the car, no signals flash :( - any ideas?

Hello, i have the same wirings, but in my manual, the blue and white wire is both on ON position, while yours, you tap it to ACC, so 2 wires for Acc...which is better?

hi, i have the same kit. everything is working except the doors not unlocking when the car has stopped. I don't have the handbrake cable wired up anywhere however. Is that needed for the door unlocking on engine shutdown to work? cheers

Would this set be easy to install to a clio IV joy edition as it already has a start stop button to start the engine. The card is used as a remote and you need to insert that card to start the engine. It is not keyless entry and go. I want to get rid of that card.

I’ve try to connect to the lock and unlock wire but once the alarm go off I have to use my factory remote to disable it. Did you connect the unlock wire from the pke remote start to the factory disarm wire ?

The only think I could think of is putting a key in the On position and breaking it off in the ignition.. how did u get around urs? Great video by the way. Very informal really helped me understand how to install it

Hey Buddy thx for that video . I am trying to install a similar system to my car called KQ163. My car is a SMART CAR 451. i dont know where to installthe blue cable cause on the cylinder block is 0 then 1 igniton and 2 start the engine. There are 3 cables on thr cylinder block! In the mittle red cable 12 v ! On the left also a red m/black where you get 12 when you switch the key in position 1 , and on the right side is a tinny cable wjich has 6-7 volt when you start the car. Can you pls help me buddy? If you leave the car running and walk away from it with the fob in your pocket, do the doors lock? What if you leave the door open when you walk away with the fob, and someone jumps in to steal the car... will the engine keep running without the fob until they shut it off?
