I disagree, going from cold to hot creates condensation because air pressure difference in different temperatures. Since different air pressures have different humidity level, the leftover water condensates. if you wrap it in plastic, it basically condensates inside and cannot vaporize again because well, you wrapped in plastic, but it got inside with air, since you cannot make it completely air tight by wrapping it in plastic. So you just create a closed canister that keeps sucking water in from air. What I would to is get a can of spray polyurethane plastic and coat the PCB. Now its just protected from the environment. Ofcourse it is good to clean the board first with isoprophyl alcohol. Simple. And now the condensation water can leave before causing any harm by rusting your connectors, etc.

good video and good eye for finding the bridge.. the chip though that looks more like they acid wiped or used a grinder on it to get rid of the writing on the chip so you would not know what it is .. I see that in all the products from china . They do it to slow people down from cloning the pcb's or dumping the firmware off the chip and the other reason is because the chip it self is a clone of a name brand.. I Just bought one of those to install have not taken mine apart yet but pretty sure that is the wireless section and that would not cause your car to turn on and off anyways.

i had a more expansive system been using it for quite number of year, at the end of the days when the relays start to get weak, you will find your car will have a hard to start and sometimes doesn't even start. currently i haven't found any better system which is more reliable from china.

Do you think a silicone based or epoxy resin, if I coat the entire circuit board with one of them, it will prevent moisture from getting in there

When you try to open a car computer or ecu,you will see a fully coated circuitboard just to insure resistant of water and rust on electronics parts.

Got it installed and used to not turn on with out the key fob in range but idk what happened it starts with out the fob I’m range what could it be

i think the pke module has issues, because i experimenting remove its fob detection antena it immediately lock the door and rang the alarm if you open its door or start its engine. if you did wired the whole system onto your car get a new spare unit just replace the module or antenna but most probably its the module. subscribe if helpful.

Mungkin boleh ..solder dengan cairan plastik atau..buat dia waterproof.. Boleh tak spray atau solder supaya tertutup .. Guna leakage spray.. Eksperimen ..hihi asalkan bahan penutup bukan elektrostatik..konduktor elektrik..

Idea yg agak baik tetapi harus ingat module tu ada connecter jenis socket...sekiranya kurang mahir akan menyebabkan socket sukar di buka sekiranya terdapat masalah😊

Hi, amazing diagnosis of the PKE system. I have one problem with my aftermarket PKE, it's that holding the brake and pushing the Push to Start button starts up the car way too fast, and this over time is causing some problems with the idling due to ECU. My question; is there any way for us to add a delay in the PCB when we start the car? only pressing the button without pressing brake sets car to "ON" position and starts the ECU, but when we try to start the engine, the starting sequence is Off -> Immediately Start Engine which does not help. Thank you so much for your input

as in modifying the PKE's PCB board is a NO, however I dont understand the sequence that you mentioned as in my PKE 1 time button push without brake tapping is ACC On. Push 2 is ON, and 3 will do start if brake is pressed or totall OFF if no brake pressed. The only thing that my PKE always bugging me is when it short crank before engine is start.

@@IkmalRusli Yes thank you for your reply. So push 3 with Brake pressed for my system does not go from ON -> Crank, but rather Shut off -> Crank. When this happens, it is similar to turning your keys straight to Crank, without pausing and letting ECU, fuel systems start up. Hope I'm able to explain well

Hi ashraf ,the original immobilizer will removed from the original key and stick to the key slot receiver permanently as there is no need for immobilization anymore, the new alarm PKE features is more advanced with its GSM radar antenna to detect the key fob within 2 meter radius. So it would not be a problem to install on altis model 2012? Because some say that the battery will weaken fast because of the system..and the original car alarm system is better..mind sharing your opinion?

@@ashrafrahim3665 Within 3 days If i not mistaken if there is no entry into the car the alarm will off its radar antenna system which will then allow u to enter using lock /unlock button. I been travel and set my car a week without starting I don't have much issue with it, plus my car battery is small NS60. Nothing much different

This was an awesome video until you said to use the bag. This unit produces heat, if you bag This the heat will sit inside bag and literally make condensation due to the heat produced inside of the plastic. Recall microwaving a meal, the top plastic has water/condensation due to the heat being produced underneath. Maybe don't advise that.

Warning I have the EASYGUARD PKE system All remotes shit themselves at some point I advise when ordering to get two more remotes straight away because, after a couple of years, the new remotes will not work on the older module. I know because it happened to me.

Hey my car already have keyless entry with remote key...but push start button is not there...if I install this then my old key can be programmed into this module...

Hi few things need to be clarify is your car keyless is aftermarket install? if yes the you need to completely get rid of it and install this PKE system old remote cannot be programmed if its not a universal ones. If your car keyless is OEM fitted then you totally cannot use this as it already have integrated into it's BCM functions and cannot be overwrite with this new keyless system. Another way if you only want to get push start feature is to just install a push-start only module but of course it have no other features other then to start the car and not as smart as this. As for this system it's support most cars that comes with non-keyless system. There is 2 things you need to confirm with your car before installing or purchasing this: 1. your car default system should not be keyless 2.Door Lock system trigger, check your car or google what type of door lock trigger it uses cause this system only support +ve and -ve triggered. newer ford model uses datalink door lock system which not supported by this PKE system. ini tak plug and play bro kena wiring dan ada certain benda kena buat cnth backup kunci dan sebagainya, nasihat sy kalau tuan suka tambah2 accessories dalaman benda ni memang tak sesuai sbb consume sedikit battery untuk start up kalau accessories overloaded jenis battery kena tukar dari jenis NS ke DIN. subscribe sekiranya membantu 😊.

I think you missed out the wire "Fuel Path/Pump" thats where the PKE sense if the engine is running, find the wire usually at the side door panel it will always give "+12v" when the engine running and non when its OFF. subscribe if helpful.

Hi I think will not compatible for car that already come with Factory push start system, like civic 2018. The diagram is universal for all car not specific to Honda, u might require a wire propping n tapping skill in order to look forward wires to joint with this module. subscribe if helpful 😃..thanks

Alamak tak ada spare ke? macam ni boleh bypass temporary kalau model alarm kamu sama mcm video ni. buka kereta tu manual time masa enjin tu mati tekan learning button yang dia provide tu hold sampai signal berkelip dan kamu boleh start kereta tu macam biasa untuk exit bypass mode tekan semula learning button tu masa engine mati sampai signal berkelip. Kalau beli remote baru untuk program hidupkan enjin kereta dulu, kemudia tekan learning button tu sampai alarm ada bunyi kejab dan signal berkelip, lepas tu tekan lock/unlock remote baru tu box alarm tu akan save frequensinya.setelah selesai programming tekam semula learning button tu.

hi for any type of pke alarm system it will consume slightly higher current then normal alarm system due to actively scanning for key fob transmitter. for this pke unit if there is no unlock for 3 days it will disable the pke function to reduce battery usage. so when u enter the vehicle u need to press the unlock button as pke sensor is disabled to conserve battery. subscribe if helpful 🤠

Tak perlu bro yang penting center lock dan door lock function, push start nj canggih cuma dia ada dia punya perangai tersendiri contohnya kadang kala signal dia terjejas sbb kan telepon bimbit dan kadang kala masa start up dia stop crank walaupun enjin belum hidup. saya masih menggunakannya sehingga sekarang syukur takde masalah sangat. subscribe sekiranya membantu 😊

@@nanotech4947 kena tgok bro kalau baru2 berlaku mungkin alarm controller ada masalah yg ini upgrade ke alarm ni mungkin solve issue bro ni, tapi kes paling teruk sikit bcm module rosak yg ini kena tukar bcm box. bawa ke pakar alarm dulu tgok apa mereka kata sblm upgrade ke benda ni takut jd teruk pula. Body control module (BCM)

@@nanotech4947 dah ok harga tu, masalah tiba2 start tu bukan masalah sistem alarm itu sebab kena air. rasanya semua alarm pke ni sama cuma make sure sensor antenna kunci tu ada 3 baru elok sikit mcm dalam video ni.

Yes it will for older cars with conventional engine start and +/- triggered door lock system. For newer Ford models that is using datalink for door lock this PKE system might not support.Subscribe if helpful.

You ble tap ke double signal wire switch output bukan input yg (+ve) kena test guna test pen kalau belum tekan emergency signal tu test pen dah menyala itu input, kalau tekan emergency light baru test pen menyala itu ouput...tapi btw alarm set tu sepatutnya dtg dngn speaker siren atleast tak kuat sangat mcm horn dan yg tu pun ble jadikan alternative

U cant still start the car the is a reset button u need to hold until the alarm chime then u can start and drive, to exit push and hold the reset button again

Not really sure what do you mean but my push start key fob is 1 way system alert is only through alarm siren from the car there is no indicator on the key fob if alarm is triggered like those viper system or may be u mean differently

Hi bro, kurang faham sikit alarm box lama maksud yang car oem ke atau yang sudah upgrade?....kalau sudah upgrade depend on the installer dia letak mana but kalau factory installed bos tak perlu buat apa-apa plastik wrapped mcm dalam video ni. Yang dalam video ni untuk alarm yg installed after market or upgrade.

Kalau u punya kereta dah guna oem factory push start mmg susah sbb dia dah integrate sekali wire system ke ecu.
