I did the numbers and ran the calculations, and upon adding all the obsidian that were in the hoppers as well, there is atLEAST 108,774,784 pieces of obsidian total, and that’s just for the storage. I’m sure there were extra hoppers bc of the water streams that I wasn’t able to add to it. Either way that’s a bunch of obsidian so I congrat you on your achievement!

Crazy dedication for this video. The awareness from you that this video will probably not be seen by a whole lot of people (your ‘quantity over quality preference that youtube has’ statement) but still going through and uploading it in a whole-hearted, not super-exaggerated way is great in my opinion. The thumbnail alone is a testament to how crazy your video production is. It stands out from much of youtube’s current content, good stuff!

Now, create a shadow stack from one of the stacks in the bottom chest. While holding the stack of shadow items, you will basically have about 100 million obsidian that you can place without ever needing to replenish from a chest or a shulker box.
If storage worked that way (if everything was connected to the bottom chest) his idea would make sense. Shadowing items is a way of linking two stacks together, so when one changes, the other changes too. In this case, it would mean that after placing a block the hoppers would refill it and he will basically have 100M obsidian in one slot
@ShapesWithoutColors5 ай бұрын

* Dispensers can place wither skulls when they spawn withers, there might be some arrangement that lets you spawn the withers in a safer way. * No shulker box loaders for the obsidian? Would store 100 millions in just over 1000 double chests. * I can't see how 8 snow golems to fire snowballs produced more lag than the ungodly amount of chickens and hoppers you needed for the eggs.

Wanna travel like Voyager thru Minecraft? Make a big piston flying machine base, you can use chest-boats for storage! Can crafting stations and such be pushed with pistons? hmm.. I'm thinking not. I guess you could pause the flying machine as necessary somehow..? I love your goal tho, sir. I bought Minecraft in 2012, but I wasn't ready for it. 2019 however, it became *my* game. Aside from very rarely jumping on Diablo, Minecraft is my jam. :) Keep up the good work, tiger. If I end up doing Twitch myself, you'll have been on of my inspirations.
