Before I knew anything about digital marketing, I worked full time as an elementary school teacher. I was extremely burnt out and unhappy until I stumbled across this career. Currently, I am working as a digital marketing manager while also teaching students in my beginner digital marketing course. This field has changed my life and I made this channel to help guide those who are seeking a career and hope to be successful in doing so.

If you find the right mentor, it will help you out a lot! 0:24 it definitely is really tough getting that first job. But you just have to find the right fit that's willing to teach you and train you for that entry-level role. Just keep pushing through, every no is closer to a yes. It just means it wasn't the right fit. And yasss Christine is back with another video, lets goooooooooooooooo, its been a minute :)

Hi, you can go either route since Acadium companies know that interns start off with little to no prior digital marketing knowledge. Since Acadium is only 10 hours of week, you can also study a course at the same time as well

He just graduated high school and was able to secure an email marketing coordinator position after a few months of studying and has been working for about a year now. I notice that before you start your digital marketing career, you have to have basic knowledge and skill for HTML and CSS. Does your job position requires you to know it? And did you learn it? If so, where should I start?

My position is in PPC so we do not need to have knowledge of HTML or CSS. If you are interested in SEO then I would recommend learning the basics

Apprenticeships for 3 months are unpaid. However, the focus shouldn’t be about the pay but focusing on learning as much as you can. After that the pay will come. Good luck!

Did you get certifications in Word, Excel, PowerPoint or was that on your resume with the basic knowledge you already had?

I already had experience from those programs from school (high school and college) and most people do too so can put that down. I don’t know of certifications for those, but can find more advanced topics on them on KZfaq!

However, our agency's primary focus is on design, and while we understand that candidates may not have a high level of expertise in their field. yet, we do require certain skills to be demonstrated in the portfolio. Unfortunately, I couldn't find these skills in the projects you've shown. Thank you again for your interest, and I wish you the best in finding a great apprenticeship. But I’m looking more towards digital marketing social media, but I have graphic design experience they told me somebody today at 8 o’clock this morning all the store was learning experience I’m also doing courses for Coursers in digital marketing.

I finished an apprenticeship with acadium but still can't find a job. I have applied to so many jobs and not one call back. I have optimized my linkedin and don't know what else to do! 😭

Hi Cristian, don’t lose hope or give up. This is a tough economy, but I have students still getting hired with only an internship on their resume. You’ll have to keep applying to as many jobs as you can every single day. Getting a job is a numbers game. You got this!
