Many types of bikes make pump tracks interesting! That includes unicycles.

A paved pump track got built a block from my place 2 years ago. I frequent it at least twice a week early in the morning when no one else is there. DH park riding skills have exploded since then. Your tire pressure preference is my ideal for DH. On the track I prefer 42 psi. Rolls much faster.

nice 6 years ago my city finally made a pump track at the bottom of a hike trail that had a downhill line in close to centre of town, just 3 days ago it was opened up as a new paved pumptrack, they gave us dirt jumps and a new blue dh line, plus altered the one we had before added a big steep to a double roller to roll through and a nice gap to a berm turn with a crazy whalebone..... there nice having one so close.

So glad I found this video! Just got back into MTB after quite a long hiatus - I live just outside of Jim Thorpe and have driven by the park 1,000 times never knowing the track was there. Got a hot tip from a local rider to go check it out and I went last weekend. 1st time on a pump track and I had SO much fun (and yes amazing workout that didn’t feel like one until afterwards haha). I live bout 10 min away so I will be frequenting the track. Great video - if you see a guy rolling around on a blaze orange specialized, that’s me… gimme a shout!

@@NickandKatieMTB they are building a paved pump track within a 5 min bike ride from my house. Cant wait. Look up twining valley park and you will see all the plans. Shouldnt be too far off a ride for you. Close to wissahickon.
