Crafting every meta deck is not something you need to do in my opinion. Just getting one deck you want could last you awhile. If you want to get lots of credits fast and don't mind spending cash, there are places where you can buy code cards for packs.

It depends how much of the set you do have imo. Be sure to get the premium Battle Pass. You get lots of credits and packs from that

It is not possible. Once you have 4 copies of a particular card, in a particular print, it will automatically convert to credits

There are rewards for playing ranked. There are particular benchmarks you need to reach in ranked to get those rewards, but as far as I know there are no rewards in casual... So why not just play ranked?

For me it was worth it. I am not the kind of person that likes to buy codes from websites to trade packs for the cards I want to play. I really like just picking the cards I want and using credits to get those cards. I too had a large stack of codes, and ended up with 40,000 credits, which could build me Lugia VStar from nothing like two and a half times. But there are problems. I currently have a deck built that I can't play because cards aren't functioning correctly. If small issues are a deal breaker, stick with PTCGO. If you can put up with bugs, PTCGL is pretty nice imo.

@@jankplaytcg I agree with you on the trading system is very predatory especially for those that don't know what they're doing. I've heard of the issues with live. But the more videos I see the more the positives outweight the negatives. Just found your channel ill stick around.

A lot of the negativity I have seen isn't wrong, I just think it isn't that important to the overall experience of the game. I do not think PTCGL is perfect or up to what we should expect of such a big IP, but I am impressed at what a new dev team with a lot of new developers have been able to do. So while I know PTCGL has a long way to go, I would not be able to play as many different decks on PTCGO as I have on PTCGL, and that is what I like to do with TCGs. Play as many decks as I can and have fun with each deck lol

That is a good question. I think so, as you will get a lot of good cards through the Battle Pass but credits will let you pick and choose which cards. There could be other factors that I don't know about but I think Celebrations is still the best way to get credits

Mew VMax has lost a lot of popularity but has the possibility of popping off like Lugia VStar. I think Lugia is a little more future proof, but Mew VMax is a decent choice. If you really want to play Mew, I would recommend the Mew VMax League Battle Deck. It is available in stores and gets you the physical deck to play at in person events, and a code card for the digital cards. If you don't want to spend the money then I think there is a lot of fun to have with Mew VMax so it isn't a bad purchase, just may not be good for very long.

Celebrations is pretty unique in that way. So beyond that, I would recommend a set you have collected most of.

There are about 24 cards in the core set and all of them are considered "rare." Then there are secret rare cards which aren't playable and purely for collectors.

I think migrating right away is the best plan. You don't get credits for your duplicates from migrating, so it is better for future cards to give credits.

@@jankplaytcg Ok thanks! Should i focus on optimizing my ptcgo collection before migrating or just go ahead and migrate right away? And do we have any indication of when ptcgo will be permanently closed?

There are certain ways to optimize your account before migrating. First, if you have 125+ unopened products (packs) when migrating you will get a large amount of in game currency for PTCGL. Beyond that, I would recommend spending all of your coins and tickets before migrating as those will disappear. Feel free to open any packs above the 125+ for whatever sets you have the least amount of cards in. Since all copies of cards above 4 will disappear. We do not have a date yet for end of PTCGO. I like the credit system in PTCGL more than the tradable pack system in PTCGO to build my decks. I do not know of any Online Tournaments ran in PTCGL which could be a deciding factor for you as well

I don't think so. Especially if you build new decks rarely. As long as you play regularly, complete daily challenges, and complete the Battle Pass each season, you should be fine with Credits

Ouch. With 2400 credits you could build a few Jank decks to find a play style you like, then save up to get a bigger deck if you want

I maximized my ability to gain resources even before PTCGL was in public testing. By having a particular amount of unopened product in PTCGO before it was shit down, I started PTCGL with a lot of resources. In addition, I saved all my Celebrations codes in order to maximize my resources too.
